The fourth episode of WWE's Fight Like A Girl on Quibi features Alexa Bliss mentoring a woman named Holly. Holly Jackson, 24 years old, noted that she had a very unstable environment growing up with a lot of drugs and she developed an eating disorder because it was the only thing in her life that she could control. Crying, she said that she keeps going down to 80 lbs. and if she doesn't do something to change, she knows she's three steps away from dying and will become another statistic. You couldn't help but to feel for her.
Stephanie McMahon, in voiceover, says Holly needs help to overcome her eating disorder from someone who has been where she is. They show footage of Alexa Bliss in the ring, noting that before she was in WWE, she "fought to be seen at all." Bliss meets Holly in the WWE HQ gym and Holly is beyond overjoyed to meet her, embracing Bliss. Bliss explains to the camera that she knows what it's like to walk into a room where people would see anorexia, not Alexa.
Holly began working out, punching a punching bag as Alexa asks her who the superstar is. Holly responds that she is. She says he's doing this for every girl with an eating disorder and for her mother. Holly explains that her Mom has been very hurt by everything that has happened. Holly said that she held a lot of anger towards her mom when she was younger because she felt her mom should have been able to protect her. They work out. Holly said that she doesn't want to be seen as anorexic. Bliss said that's how people used to look at her.
Bliss noted that her grandmother and mother each had eating disorders and she was put on that path and had to break the cycle for herself. Holly said that she was at one point 83 lbs. She used to weigh 117 and got overcome emotionally talking about it. Bliss embraced her. Holly said that people tell her to just go eat something. She began crying as she said she wished that she could just go eat a burger whenever she wanted without throwing it up. She said she's good one minute and the next she's sh**. She doesn't know how to fix this by herself. Bliss said she sees the struggles and how bad she wants to better herself and she's going to get there. Bliss promises to be there every step of the way.
They show Holly going through her ten week journey at the WWE Performance Center, including working out in the ring with PC Coach Matt Bloom advising her to remain calm because the more relaxed you are in the ring, the safer and better things will be. She shows some muscle growth on her arms and notes she's going to a nutritionist.
On Reveal Day, Bliss is waiting for her in the ring. Holly comes to the ring as her mother applauds from the first row. Ten weeks ago, she didn't believe she would be here but these were the best ten weeks in her life. Going home, she gets to start a new chapter. She added 15 lbs. on the journey. She thanked Bliss for being there for her and sharing Bliss' story with the world, because it made a difference - "Look at me now", Holly says as she begins cry.
Holly told the camera that she feels great and has an appetite now. She doesn't feel cold all the time now.
Holly's mom gets in the ring and embraces her. She wants to inspire her mom to do better and show her that Holly has been able to do it. They hug.
Bliss said it's incredible how far Holly has come and that it's incredible.
Back at the WWE Performance Center, Stephanie McMahon asked Holly to promise herself that she will keep going in the process. Holly says that she'll promise both of them, Stephanie and herself, that she will. McMahon said that she wants Holly to know WWE is here for her and she's not alone. Holly says she is super grateful for the help.
From a deep, emotional standpoint, this was the most revealing and raw episode of the series to date. Bliss revealed quite a bit of personal information about herself and her family in order to help someone else - and others, and you can't help but to have the deepest of respect for that. Out of all of the women spotlighted thus far, one can't help but hope that Holly is able to make a permanent positive change - and I sincerely hope she's doing well.
Tomorrow - Nikki Bella returns.
