MLW FUSION REPORT: HAMMERSTONE VS T-HAWK, KING MO VERSUS LOW KI, AND MORE

We start off with a look at Team Filthy’s issues with Killer Kross, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and the Von Erichs over the last few weeks. We then see King Mo attacking Killer Kross in the back after the eight man tag match last week.

Alicia Atout is with Dan Lambert and she brings up King Mo’s suspension. Lambert says he has a battery of lawyers on this and they are appealing the suspension and he will be able to wrestle during the appeal process. Lambert says they are not going anywhere.

We are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and your announcers are Rich Bocchini and AJ Kirsch.

We are told that Brian Pillman Jr. is scheduled to face Jordan Oliver but he is not at the building.

Alicia Atout is in the back and she mentions that he is supposed to be interviewed but they have not heard from him.

We go to Team Filthy and Tom Lawlor tells Killer Kross it is good to see you again. You saw the difference between people who live and eat fighting compared to someone who looks like a fighter. You didn’t look too comfortable on the ground. Dominic Garrini talks about the old Gracie Challenges and he is going to have the Prize Fight Challenge. If you can last five minutes, you will get $1,000. King Mo says he is the King of Knockouts.

Match Number One: Dominic Garrini (with Kit Osbourne) versus Dr. Dax in a Prize Fight Challenge

Garrini with a waist lock but Dax backs Garrini into the corner. Garrini goes for the leg and Dax with forearms to the back. Dax misses a splash and Garrini with an STO. Garrini with a front face lock and choke that forces Dax to tap out.

Winner: Dominic Garrini

Maxwell Jacob Friedman tells Mance Warner he is trying to beat him but Maxwell says he is smarter than Warner. You walk around and say things are handed to him and he didn’t earn them, but that is what he expects from trailer park trash. You say I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, but it’s not my fault you were born to be an outlaw, mudshow, s***ty little prick in his rarefied air. Maxwell says he is not afraid to play with Mance. Hammerstone tries to calm him down but Maxwell says he will f*** him up.

We are told that Maxwell Jacob Friedman will meet Mance Warner in a Loser Leaves MLW Empty Arena Match.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a King Mo video package.

Alicia Atout is in the back and she mentions that they have tried to call Brian Pillman Jr. but they have not been able to contact him. As a result, his match with Jordan Oliver has been postponed.

Match Number Two: Alexander Hammerstone versus T-Hawk in a National Openweight Championship Match

They lock up and Hawk backs Hammerstone into the corner and gives a clean break and pats Hammerstone on the chest. They lock up and Hammerstone backs Hawk into the corner. Hammerstone with a clean break. They lock up and Hammerstone with a side head lock. Hammerstone with a shoulder tackle. Hammerstone with shoulders in the corner. Hammerstone with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot.
Hawk chops Hammerstone and then kicks him and chops Hammerstone again. Hawk goes for a suplex but Hammerstone blocks it. Hawk with a suplex and Hammerstone is impressed. Hammerstone with a waist lock and Hawk with an elbow. Hawk with a chop. Hawk counters a leap frog with a sit out power bomb for a near fall.

Hammerstone with a kick and forearms. Hammerstone with forearms and kicks in the corner. Hammerstone with a face wash to Hawk. Hammerstone with a forearm. Hawk sends Hammerstone over the top rope to the floor and Hawk goes for a baseball slide but Hammerstone stops him and then Hammerstone with a running boot to the head. Hammerstone stops the referee’s count and then he picks up Hawk and swings him into the guardrails.

They return to the ring and Hammerstone works on the neck. Hawk with a chop and Hammerstone with a back elbow. Hammerstone has some words for Hawk and hawk with forearms. Hawk with a chop and Hammerstone falls back into the corner. Hammerstone with an Irish whip and Hawk with a drop kick to the knee. Hawk runs into a boot and Hammerstone goes to the turnbuckles but Hawk chops Hammerstone off the turnbuckles to the floor.

Hammerstone blocks a kick and Hawk with a chop. Hammerstone with a knee but Hawk with a pop up knee and a drop kick followed by a knee to the back of the head. Hawk tries to get Hammerstone up but Hammerstone gets to his feet. Hammerstone with a bicycle kick and German suplex followed by a power bomb. Hammerstone gets a near fall and then applies a Boston Crab. Hawk gets to the ropes but Hammerstone pulls Hawk back into the center of the ring. Hawk is able to power out of the hold. Hawk with a forearm and Hammerstone with a forearm of his own.

Hawk and Hammerstone exchange forearms. Hawk with a chop and Hammerstone with a bicycle kick and T-Bone suplex. Hawk with a forearm and chop followed by a pump handle Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Hawk goes up top and Hammerstone stops him. Hawk with forearms to knock Hammerstone to the mat. Hammerstone with a drop kick and he hits a superplex. Hammerstone with the Nightmare Pendulum for the three count.

Winner: Alexander Hammerstone (retains Championship)

We have a Low Ki video package.

We go to commercial.

We go to Alicia Atout with Konnan. Konnan is asked about the AAA/MLW show. He says it will take place in Tijuana so it will be different fans and wrestling style. You don’t want to let the product get stale. Everyone wins in this situation.

We go to Mance Warner. He tells MJF that you and your boys beat up his family. All you did was make Mancer more crazy in the head. Mance says he ain’t a loser and he ain’t leaving town. Mance says he has busted his ass in MLW. MJF and Mance in a loser leave town match. Everything you’ve done, you are going to answer for.

We will get an update on Killer Kross next week.

Alicia Atout is in the back and Injustice shows up and they show Alicia a video on Jordan’s phone. Myron tells Alicia to take it to the truck. Kotto says to stay tuned because there is a lot in store for you.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: King Mo (with Dan Lambert) versus Low Ki (with Ross Von Erich)

The referee gives the wrestlers their instructions before the match starts.

Mo with a kick to the lower leg. They lock up and Mo backs Ki into the ropes. Mo with a break thanks to the referee. Mo with a waist lock and Ki with a front face lock. The referee has to separate both men in the corner. Mo throws a jab that misses and they lock up. Mo with a double leg and he throws Ki over the top rope to the floor.

The referee checks on Ki and Ki says that he is okay. Ki limps back into the ring and Mo waits for him to return into the ring to go after him and Mo sends Ki back to the floor. They lock up and Mo sends Ki into the corner and connects with knees to the chest. Mo kicks and chokes Ki in the corner. Mo with more knees and he sends Ki into the ropes. Mo with a single leg take down. Mo with an STF into a front face lock and take down. Mo with a hammer lock.

Ki with forearms and Mo with a diving shoulder to the knee. Ki goes back to the floor. Mo with punches in the corner. Mo chokes Ki in the corner. Ki swings and misses as he tries to maintain his balance. Mo with slaps and kicks. Ki with a rolling kick to Mo. Ki with a knee as Mo goes for the leg and Ki gets a choke on Mo but Mo gets to the turnbuckles. Ki gets Mo down to the mat.

Dominic Garrini and Erick Stevens come to ringside to try to distract Ross Von Erich. Marshall Von Erich comes out to join his brother.

Tom Lawlor is in the ring and he hits Ki in the back with the umbrella while the referees were out of the ring dealing with the situation on the floor. The towel that Ross had is in the ring and the referee sees it and calls for the bell.

Winner: King Mo

After the match, Alicia Atout is with King Mo and Team Filthy. She asks what happened. King Mo and Dan Lambert say that Low Ki got knocked out and even the people of Philadelphia could see that. Mo wants everyone to bend a knee. Tom Lawlor says you will worship a fake like Rocky Balboa and leave Smoking Joe Frazier destitute but you won’t show respect to the new knockout king?

We go to the footage that Injustice reference earlier.

We see Brian Pillman Jr. in the parking lot on the phone and Myron Reed kicks Pillman in the chest while Oliver hits Pillman from behind. Reed kicks Pillman while Oliver holds him and then Reed with a curb stomp onto a cinder block.
