WAS VINCE AT WRESTLEMANIA 36, HOW WWE HANDLES TALENTS AT THE PC RIGHT NOW AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2020-03-27 10:00:00

I was wondering how WWE was handling having talents intermingling and whatnot at the WWE Performance Center?

From what we are told, that is not happening.  We have been told that when talents and staff arrive, they meet with WWE medical and have their temperature checked and are asked about any potential symptoms they might be experiencing.   If anyone if feeling ill in any way, whether they are symptoms of coronavirus or not, they are not allowed into the building.  Once they enter, they are kept separated from everyone else until it is time for their segment.  We are also told that talents and staff are scheduled in cycles so that there are only many people in the building at the same time.

Was Vince McMahon there when they taped Wrestlemania 36?  I was wondering since well, you never know, it could be his last.

McMahon was there for the majority, if not the entirety of the Mania taping.

Do you think the coronavirus will spell the end of the careers of older wrestlers?  I live on the TN/MS border and it's not unusual to see Bill Dundee, Hacksaw Duggan, Austin Idol, Jerry Lawler, etc.  Is this the end for them?

I don't know that it will be the end for them, but obviously, they (and everyone) will need to be more cautious.  There will always be independent promotions willing to book older talents who are willing to wrestle but for the time being, they'd be best advised to take a break in my opinion.

Do you think WWE will ever bring back the old Wrestlemania ring carts carrying people to the ring for a big show?  I feel like that's an old element they never try to use.

I don't see it, since WWE's entrances are far more tied to the production of the show and the dramatic flair of it.  The carts existed, in part, to carry Andre the Giant to the ring so he didn't tire out before his Wrestlemania III match with Hulk Hogan.  I don't see them needing that again.

How many other WWE Netflix productions are scheduled?

Thus far, noting else has been announced beyond Main Event and Big Show Show.
