WWE NXT UK REPORT: DEVLIN VERSUS BANKS, VALKYRIE VS SAMUELS, AND MORE

We start off with a video package for the NXT Cruiserweight Title Match tonight between Travis Banks and Jordan Devlin.

We are in Coventry, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith versus Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner

Barthel and Carter start things off and Carter with a wrist lock. Barthel with a chin lock and wrist lock into a take down. Barthel puts the legs in a figure four and turns his focus to the legs. Carter tries to use a chin lock to reverse but Barthel holds on and applies a bow and arrow but Carter with a lateral press for a near fall.

Barthel with a snap mare and kick to the back. Carter misses a kick but hits a super kick. Aichner makes the tag and takes Carter down with an arm drag into an arm bar. Aichner with a hammer lock and Carter escapes with a flying mare. Smith tags in and Aichner catches Smith on a leap frog. Smith gets to his feet and Smith with a side slam. Carter tags in and he uses Smith for extra momentum to propel himself onto Aichner with a splash for a near fall.

Barthel tags in and he misses a splash into the corner. Carter with a forearm and then he takes Aichner down with a head scissors. Carter with a heel kick to Aichner. Barthel trips Carter on the ropes and Carter goes down. Barthel tags in and he sends Carter into the turnbuckles. Barthel with chops in the corner followed by kicks. Barthel chokes Carter in the ropes. Barthel with a punch to Carter and Aichner tags in. Aichner with a chop to the back and then he connects with forearms and kicks.

Barthel tags in and they hit the double drop kick in the corner. Aichner tags back in and he connects with a forearm to the back and applies a nerve hold into a chin lock with the arm trapped. Carter with punches but Aichner with a punch. They go back and forth. Aichner with a kick and he goes after Smith but Carter with a forearm. Smith tags in when Carter lands on his feet on a suplex attempt. Smith with a flying clothesline and then he hits a sit out Death Valley Driver on Aichner for a near fall. Aichner gets to his feet and he connects with a forearm. Smith with a kick and Carter tags in. Smith sends Carter into the air for a 450 splash and Carter gets a near fall. Barthel sends Smith to the floor and Carter with a forearm. Aichner with a clothesline and Barthel is knocked off the turnbuckles. Carter with a rana for a near fall.

Aichner with a chop and kick followed by a European uppercut. Carter with a super kick and Barthel with a tag and Imperium hits the European bomb for the three count.

Winners: Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel

We go to Gallus. Mark and Wolfgang talk about how they have beaten all of the teams. Joe says he will win the Battle Royal and then he will beat WALTER so Gallus will be on top.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Trent Seven talks to Tyler Bate about the battle royal next week and they are both in the match. They say may the best man win or the best boy.

Alexander Wolfe says he will win the Battle Royal to secure the interest of Imperium and make sure that the mat stays sacred.

Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith walk to the back and they are asked about their match and momentum going forward. Ashton says they knew it wouldn’t be clean sailing. He says NXT UK has the best tag team division.

Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley stop by and they slow clap for them and say that was a good job. They say they are just having a joke and walk away.

Smith tells Carter not to worry about them because they have a battle royal to prepare for.

Match Number Two: Nina Samuels versus Aoife Valkyrie

They lock up and Valkyrie with a side head lock. Samuels with a handstand to escape. They lock up and Valkyrie with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Valkyrie with a side head lock take down but Samuels with a head scissors. Valkyrie escapes and mocks Samuels. Samuels with a head lock take over but Valkyrie lands on her feet. Samuels with a jackknife cover for a near fall and Valkyrie goes for a back slide but Samuels gets to the ropes to stop Valkyrie.

Samuels sends Valkyrie into the ropes and gets a near fall. Samuels slams Valkyrie’s head into the mat and then Samuels works on the legs. Samuels goes for a bow and arrow but Valkyrie counters into a lateral press for a near fall. Valkyrie with a punch and kick but Samuels with an Irish whip. Valkyrie with an arm drag followed by an enzuigiri. Valkyrie with a blockbuster for a near fall. Valkyrie goes up top and Samuels rolls to the floor. Valkyrie with a drop kick through the ropes. They return to the ring but Samuels goes to the apron.

Samuels with a kick to the head and Samuels with a slingshot corkscrew splash for a near fall. Samuels gets Valkyrie up but Valkyrie goes for a sunset flip but Samuels stops her and slaps Valkyrie. Valkyrie with a spinning back elbow and a spinning back heel kick. Valkyrie goes up top and hits a guillotine leg drop for the three count.

Winner: Aoife Valkyrie

We take a look back at what happened last week after Kay Lee Ray’s match with Dani Luna.

Piper Niven is asked why did she come to the aid of Dani Luna. Piper says Dani is big enough and strong enough that she does not need help. However, Dani does not know how evil and calculating Kay Lee Ray can be. She saw her friend get defeated by Kay Lee, but she won’t let anyone else fall victim. Next week, her and Dani will face Kay Lee Ray and Jinny.

We are back with a look at what happened to Mark Andrews last week when his knee was injured prior to his six man tag match.

Flash Morgan Webster says he does not have an update on Mark because he is still undergoing tests. Flash says he will find out who did this and he will make them pay. Mark said he wants him to focus on the battle royal. He is going to do it for Mark.

Match Number Three: A-Kid versus Noam Dar

Dar with a kick when A-Kid wants to lock up. Dar with a waist lock and A-Kid with an escape. They lock up in a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Dar goes to the mat and he takes the advantage on A-Kid. Dar with a wrist lock but A-Kid with a head scissors. Dar tries to escape but A-Kid keeps the pressure on. Dar is able to escape and he applies a side head lock. Dar pushes A-Kid and A-Kid misses a spinning round kick. Dar mocks A-Kid. A-Kid with a single leg take down and a side head lock. A-Kid with an octopus on Dar into a sunset flip attempt but Dar avoids it. A-Kid with a kick to the back.

A-Kid with a rollup for a near fall. Dar with a back slide for a near fall. A-Kid with a near fall and then they go back and forth with rollups for near falls. After a series of one counts, A-Kid is able to get a two count. They lock up and Dar with a back elbow and A-Kid falls to the apron.

Dar holds A-Kid in the ropes and then he lets A-Kid go and Dar kicks A-Kid. Dar with kicks in the corner. Dar with an elbow drop and European uppercut for a near fall. Dar with an arm bar. A-Kid escapes and hits a drop kick that sends Dar to the floor. A-Kid goes up top and he comes off the turnbuckles but Dar catches A-Kid and Dar with a Fujiwara arm bar. A-Kid with a cross arm breaker but Dar with a heel hook. A-Kid with a cross arm breaker. Dar with a kick to the groinal area followed by the Nova Roller for the three count.

Winner: Noam Dar

After the match, Noam Dar talks about the twenty man battle royal. It will be more like 19 Dafties and 1 Supernova Eleven and your next NXT UK Champion.

We are back and Dave Mastiff says he is the most powerful in the battle royal and no one can throw a proper British Heavyweight over the top rope.

Kassius Ohno says that when you take the wrestling genius and put him in the ring with 19 mongrels and heathens, technical acumen will propel him in the battle royal.

Ilja Dragunov says he prepares himself for war. He says 19 opponents will go out because he will hit the ring like a lightning streak.

Match Number Four: Jordan Devlin versus Travis Banks for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship

They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and Banks takes Devlin to the mat and applies an arm bar. Devlin with an arm drag and Banks holds on for a cross arm breaker but Devlin escapes. Banks with a wrist lock and hammer lock into a side head lock take down. Devlin with a head scissors and Banks escapes. They lock up and Devlin with a wrist lock take down. Devlin with an arm bar and Banks with a wrist lock take down and Devlin lands awkwardly on his elbow.

Banks blocks a kick and Banks takes Devlin to the mat. Banks works on the ankle and Devlin with a side head lock. Banks with a wrist lock take down into an arm bar. Banks with a snap mare and Banks with a crucifix for a near fall. Banks with a rollup for a near fall. Devlin with a side head lock and Banks with a trip and Banks with a rollup for a near fall.

Banks misses a round kick and Devlin goes to the floor. Banks grabs Devlin by the hair on the floor but Devlin drops Banks on the top rope. Banks counters a uranage and clotheslines Devlin over the top rope. Banks goes for a suicide dive but Devlin sees it coming and he side steps Banks and Banks goes shoulder first into the ringside barrier. Devlin returns to the ring while the referee checks on Banks. The referee starts his count and Devlin brings Banks back into the ring. Devlin with an elevated back breaker for a near fall. Devlin with an elbow to the bridge of the nose.

Devlin with a knee to the midsection and he follows with an arm bar. Devlin with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Banks floats over and he sends Devlin face first into the mat but Devlin with Spanish Fly for a near fall. Devlin pulls down the knee pads and he connects with a jumping double knee. Devlin with an elbow to the back and he chokes Banks in the corner. Banks with chops to Devlin but Devlin tries for a chop and misses. Banks with another chop. Devlin with a jaw breaker and both men are down. Devlin kicks Banks in the head and chest and Banks wants more. Devlin with more kicks and Banks with forearms. Devlin with a uranage and standing moonsault but it lands on Banks’ knees.

Banks with a running forearm into the corner followed by a second one. Banks kicks a charging Devlin in the knee and Devlin goes into the turnbuckles. Banks with a cannonball and a German suplex and bridge for a near fall. Banks with kicks to the chest. Devlin blocks a kick and holds on to the leg and he sends Banks to the mat. Banks trips Devlin and hits a running knee to the head followed by a rolling elbow and a bicycle kick. Devlin falls to the floor and Banks with a suicide dive onto Devlin.

Banks sends Devlin back into the ring and Travis goes up top. Banks with a missile drop kick for a near fall. Banks misses Slice of Heaven when Devlin moves. Devlin with a forearm and he goes for Devil Inside but Banks with a counter into a sunset flip for a near fall. Both men exchange near falls. Devlin with a back heel kick but Banks with a head butt. Devlin with a head butt and Devlin falls onto Banks. Devlin goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault but Banks crotches Devlin. Banks goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a double stomp while Devlin is in the tree of woe. Banks gets a near fall.

Devlin with an enzuigiri to Banks on the turnbuckles. Devlin with a jab and he sets for a Spanish Fly but Banks stops Devlin. Devlin hits a slingshot cutter but he can only get a near fall. Banks with a flying clothesline and then he hits Slice of Heaven. Banks with the Kiwi Crusher attempt but Devlin with a rollup and a Backlund Bridge and a hand on the ropes for the three count.

Winner: Jordan Devlin (retains Championship)
