QUEBEC SHUTS DOWN NON-ESSENTIAL COMPANIES, INCLUDING BOTH TV NETWORKS THAT CARRY PRO WRESTLING

By Patric Laprade on 2020-03-24 10:41:00

?On Monday, Quebec’s Prime Minister Francois Legault announced the closing of every non-essential company in the province. Following the announcement, both sports networks, RDS and TVA Sports, announced they were suspending their regular broadcasts.

In each of those cases, that means wrestling on TV  will also be suspended through until April 13.

Since October 2017, RDS has been broadcasting two hours of wrestling every month with matches from Ring of Honor and from local promotion International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS).

TVA Sports was broadcasting one hour of WWE Raw every week, also since October 2017.
