COULD JINDER GET ANOTHER BIG PUSH, WWE REALITY SHOWS, WOULD CM PUNK HAVE BEEN AT WRESTLEMANIA FOR FOX & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2020-03-21 10:00:00

Since I am home, I have been watching WWE reality shows on the WWE Network.  This stuff is all worked right?

Yes, just like every other reality show, the talents are put into an environment and situation that is often manipulated by producers and then the footage is edited to tell the story that the producers want to tell.  There are times where real life situations and circumstances are worked into the shows however.

I wanted to get your thoughts on David Starr as a talent in the ring and his Independent movement in wrestling? I have gone down the rabbit hole and he has some of the best promo’s I have seen in a long time.

I like Starr's work a lot.  I think he's one of the few mavericks left in the wrestling world.  Whether that prevents him from getting a larger platform or contract, only time will tell, but he is a hell of a hand.

If WrestleMania was going on as originally planned do you think Fox would have had C M Punk there working for them?

If they wanted him there, yes.  FOX was originally going to broadcast WWE Backstage from Tampa and I'd imagine they'd want their #1 ratings draw for the show with them for that.

Do you think The Fiend listened to Everybody Hurts by R.E.M on the plane back from Saudi Arabia?

Sources tell me it was actually Elton John's Sad Songs.

Do you think that if the creative team were a lot wiser with him than they were last time, Jinder Mahal could possibly have another go as a main eventer? I still admit that his initial push was an intriguing idea, albeit one ruined by terrible and slapdash creative.

It's always possible, but you have to remember that at the end of the day, it all comes down to what one person - Vince McMahon - wants.
