WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: A GAUNTLET, A TOUCH OF BLISS, TWO WOMEN'S TAG MATCHES, BUT NO WEIRD TATTOOS

By Richard Trionfo on 2020-03-06 21:59:00

We begin with a look back at last week when John Cena said he would not take someone's spot at Wrestlemania this year . . . only to accept a spot on the card for Wrestlemania moments later because . . . . someone pointed at the Wrestlemania sign behind him.

We are in Buffalo, New York and your announcers are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are in the ring for A Moment of Bliss.

Alexa welcomes everyone and she says we continue to celebrate the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020.  Alexa runs through the current inductees.

Alexa has a message for the Kabuki Warriors.  She says that the titles are supposed to be defended on all brands so when you are done hiding on Raw, they are here for you.

Alexa brings out Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, and Scott Hall.

Scott takes the mic and throws out a Hey Yo before sitting down.

Alexa congratulates them and she mentions they will now be two time Hall of Famers.  Nikki says she is the biggest fan of theirs 4 Life and Nikki wants a selfie.

Alexa asks Sean what do we call you?  Sean says that she should call him a Hall of Famer.  Alexa mentions that Sean was inducted with DX and now you are going in with the nWo and you revolutionized the business.  Alexa mentions their feud with Bill Goldberg.

Alexa asks Kevin about ending Goldberg's streak and what does Roman Reigns have to do to beat Goldberg at Wrestlemania.  Nash says he forgot that he beat Bill.  He says he talked to Roman and Roman asked him for advice.  He says there are two things he needs to beat Goldberg and he said Scott Hall and a cattle prod.

Scott is interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura's music and he comes to the stage with Sami Zayn and Cesaro.

Sami says we all love the nWo and 1997 was a great year.  It is time to stop talking about the past and talk about the future.  The future is Sami Zayn.  The future is Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.  The immediate future is the three of them defeating Braun Strowman and winning back the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber.  Sami says you know what it means to talk about the title.  Sami says Razor Ramon was one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions.  Kevin Nash won the title too.  Sean Waltman . . . .knows how much the belt weighs after carrying their bags for so many years.

Nash says Sami is talking tough for someone who looks like Seth Rogan after two weeks of a stomach flu.

Sami asks them if they think they are funny.  They can drop them in two seconds.

Nash says they couldn't touch them on their best day.  Waltman says they couldn't touch them on any day.  Hall agrees.

They go face to face.

Sami tells Sean if it is a fight they are looking for, it is not going to happen.  They are not going to give you what you want.  You will not get the rub from them by fighting them.  Sami says they are focused on their objective.  That objective is to destroy Braun Strowman at Elimination Chamber.

Braun Strowman's music plays and he makes his way to the ring but Cesaro charges at Braun and hits a running boot.  Cesaro with a European uppercut but Strowman sends Cesaro into the stage.  Strowman takes care of Nakamura and then Sami falls in front of Waltman as Braun enters the ring and flexes his fingers.
