WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: THE 24/7 TITLE IS DEFENDED

We are in Winnipeg, Manitoba and your announcers are Byron Saxton and Mickie James.

Match Number One: No Way Jose versus Shelton Benjamin

They lock up and Benjamin backs Jose into the corner. Benjamin with an Irish whip and Jose floats over and hits an arm drag and drop kick. Benjamin with a knee and Jose with a shoulder tackle. Jose with a reverse atomic drop followed by an arm drag that sends Benjamin to the floor. Benjamin grabs a member of the conga line and sends him into the ringside barrier. Jose comes out and punches Benjamin and checks on his downed dancer. Benjaminpower bombs another member of the conga line into Jose.

Jose is sent shoulder first into the LED board on the apron. Benjamin goes to the floor and he pulls Jose’s shoulder into the ring post. Benjamin with a hammer lock divorce court for a near fall. Benjamin with an arm bar. Jose with punches and Jose with a slam. Jose with a boot to Benjamin. Jose with punches and a forearm followed by a discus forearm. Jose with a splash into the corner and then he tries to get Benjamin up but he cannot due to the damage done to his shoulder. Jose is able to get Benjamin up a second time and hits a flapjack for a near fall.

Jose goes up top and goes for a cross body but Shelton catches Jose and applies an arm bar submission and Jose taps out.

Winner: Shelton Benjamin

Match Number Two: Riddick Moss versus Cedric Alexander for the WWE 24/7 Championship

They lock up and Moss with a waist lock take down. They lock up and Moss sends Alexander to the mat and hits a shoulder tackle. Moss with a forearm and he pie faces Alexander. Alexander with a foearm and chops. Moss escapes the corner but is met with a kick and missile drop kick. Moss goes to the floor.

Alexander sets for a pescado but Moss moves and Alexander lands on the apron. Alexander kicks Moss. Alexander with a chop and they return to the ring. Alexander goes for a slingshot move but Moss with a clothesline.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Moss with shoulders in the corner followed by an Irish whip and running shoulder into the corner. Moss with a waist lock. Alexander with a back elbow but Moss with a forearm to the back. Alexander with a rollup and a double stomp to the back of the head. Alexander with punches to Moss and a back heel kick. Alexander with a running forearm into the corner followed by a drop kick to the back of the head.

Alexander with a suicide dive to Moss and Alexander sets for a slingshot flatliner and he gets a near fall. Alexander sets for the Lumbar Check but Moss with elbows. Moss blocks a kick and hits a pop up clothesline for a near fall. Alexander with a punch and he misses the Neuralizer. Moss with a uranage for the three count.

Winner: Riddick Moss (Retains Championship)
