NXT UK REPORT: I QUIT MATCH, GRIZZLED YOUNG VETERANS, KASSIUS OHNO, AND MORE

We start off with a video package for the Toni Storm versus Kay Lee Ray I Quit Match for the NXT UK Women’s Championship.

We are in York, England and your announcers are Aiden English and Tom Phillips.

Match Number One: Zack Gibson and James Drake versus Wild Boar and Primate

Drake and Primate start things off but Gibson wants to discuss some strategy before doing anything. Primate with a clothesline and slam. Boar tags in and Primate drops Boar onto Drake for a near fall. Boar with a forearm and Gibson stops Boar from a charge into the corner. Gibson helps Drake to his corner so Gibson can make the tag. Gibson backs away from Boar.

They lock up and Gibson with a side head lock. Gibson with a wrist lock and Drake absorbs the impact on the Irish whip and Gibson with a kick to Boar and he knocks Primate down on the apron. Gibson with a side head lock and Drake tags in. Drake with a drop kick to the knee followed by a drop kick from Gibson. Drake with a drop kick to knock Primate down on the apron.

Drake punches Boar in the corner and hits a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Drake makes sure that Primate does not interfere and Gibson tags in. Gibson and Drake with a double clothesline for a near fall. Gibson blocks Boar from making the tag and Drake tags in. Gibson with a slam and Gibson drops Drake onto Boar for a near fall. Drake with a nerve hold. Boar with a punch and forearms to Drake and then Drake keeps Boar from making the tag. Drake with a back breaker and Boar goes to the floor.

Gibson tags in and Gibson with a back breaker while Drake hits a slingshot elbow drop from the ring to the floor. Gibson sends Boar hard to the mat and gets a near fall. Gibson with a chin lock using Boar’s arm for extra pressure. Boar with punches but Gibson with a back elbow. Boar with a short arm clothesline and Gibson grabs the leg to prevent the tag. Primate is able to make the tag and he clotheslines Gibson and hits a series of double sledges to the back. Primate brings Drake into the ring and Primate with an exploder to Gibson followed by clotheslines to Gibson and Drake in the corners. Primate keeps Drake in the ring and hits a back body drop. Primate with a spear to Gibson for a near fall.

Primate with a forearm to Drake on the apron but Gibson with a clothesline. Drake tags in and Drake gots uop top and Gibson gets Primate on his shoudlers. Primate escapes and he hits an exploder on Drake as Drake comes off the turnbuckles. Primate gets Drake on his shoulders but Drake with a rake of the eyes. Gibson tags in and Drake with an enzuigiri followed by a super kick and Gibson hits a neck breaker for a near fall.

Drake tags in and they set for Ticket to Mayhem but Primate escapes. Gibson blocks a German suplex attempt thanks to help from Drake. Primate goes for a German suplex on Drake but Gibson stops him until Boar gets involved and both hit German suplexes. Boar tags in and Primate with a Death Valley Driver into a sit out power bomb by Boar on Drake for a near fall. Primate tags in and both go up top but Gibson pulls Boar off the apron and then Boar hits the ring steps. Primate with a cross body onto Gibson on the floor. Primate with a springboard double sledge to Drake. Gibson makes the tag and they hit Ticket to Mayhem for the three count.

Winners: Zack Gibson and James Drake

We have a video for Ridge Holland. He says there is only one Ridge Holland. He wants to fight. Ridge Holland is a man not to be trifled with. He will be in action next week.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Jack Starz versus Kassius Ohno

They lock up and Ohno with a wrist lock. Starz tries for a snap mare but he cannot get Ohno over so Ohno returns to the wrist lock. Starz goes for a hip toss but Ohno does not go over. Ohno stays with the wrist lock. Stars with a back drop into a wrist lock. Ohno tries to get fancy with his kip up and Starz with a rollup for a near fall. Ohno sends Starz into the corner and Starz with a headstand on the turnbuckles. Ohno does not charge into the corner and Ohno uses his boot to put the hand against the turnbuckle.

Ohno with a hammer lock and back breaker on the arm as well. Ohno continues to work on the wrist and then he pulls at the fingers. Starz with forearms but Ohno holds on to the wrist lock and he suplexes Starz. Ohno rolls up Starz and gets a near fall. Ohno with a leg sweep and he goes for a short arm scissors but Starz rolls through and gets a near fall. Starz with a European uppercut and then Ohno falls over Starz.

Staza goes for a running European uppercut but Ohno sends Starz to the apron. Starz with a double jump back elbow and goes for a butterfly suplex but Ohno drops down. Starz with a butterfly suplex to Ohno. Starz goes for another one but Ohno counters. Starz with a sunset flip for a near fall. Starz with a back elbow and he goes up top. Ohno with an arm wringer off the turnbuckles. Ohno with an arm bar into the Kassius Clutch and Starz taps out.

Winner: Kassius Ohno

Radzi is with Isla Dawn and she is asked about the women’s division. She says the division is stacked and she is honored to be a part of it. She says she has been impressed with Aoife Valkyrie but she does not know how Valkyrie will fare next week against the White Witch.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Travis Banks. He says Alexander Wolfe got in his face and he says he wants a match with Wolfe. He asks Johnny Saint to give him something to sink his teeth into. He wants the match to happen next week.

Match Number Three: A-Kid versus Brian Kendrick

They start off with a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and A-Kid backs Kendrick into the corner. Kendrick with a chicken wing and A-Kid gets to the mat and Kendrick releases the hold. They return to the knuckle lock and Kendrick gets to the ropes to force a break. Kendrick with a side head lock and shoulder tackle for a near fall. A-Kid with a hip toss for a near fall.

A-Kid goes for the cross arm breaker but Kendrick locks his arms to prevent the proper application of the hold. A-Kid with an arm bar into a front face lock. A-Kid with a drop kick. Kendrick goes through the ropes holding on to A-Kid’s arm and A-Kid hits the ropes and bounces back to the mat. Kendrick with a wrist lock and his boot against the throat. Kendrick ties A-Kid up in the ropes and uses the ropes on the head. Kendrick with a cravate.

A-Kid with punches and forearms but Kendrick punches back. Kendrick Irish whips A-Kid’s shoulder into the turnbuckles. A-Kid with a drop kick that sends Kendrick to the floor. A-Kid with a suicide dive. Kendrick with an elbow to the neck and Kendrick misses a boot against the ring steps. A-Kid with a moonsault off the ring steps. They return to the ring and A-Kid goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. A-Kid with a La Mistica into a Fujiwara arm bar.

Kendrick goes to the floor and A-Kid is dropped on the top rope. Kendrick with a Butterfly Superplex for a near fall. Kendrick goes for the Captain’s Hook but A-Kid is able to escape A-Kid with a springboard DDT for the three count.

Winner: A-Kid

We take a look at next week’s NXT UK Title match. Dave Mastiff says success comes when preparation meets opportunity. Next week is his opportunity. You can bet he won’t let it slip through his hands. Is Dave Mastiff prepared for WALTER? He is more than prepared. Is WALTER prepared for Dave Mastiff? NXT UK deserves a champion better than WALTER and what he stands for. He is nothing like WALTER. Dave says he despises WALTER because WALTER stands for greed. Dave says he does not want this, he needs this. It is time to make a proper British heavyweight the NXT UK Champion.

Match Number Four: Toni Storm versus Kay Lee Ray for the WWE NXT UK Women’s Championship in an I Quit Match

They start off throwing punches at each other and Ray goes to the floor and Storm follows. Storm sends Ray into the ringside barrier and into the ring post. Storm sends Rya into the ringside barrier one more time. Storm Irish whips Ray into the ring steps. Storm sends Ray back into the ring and Storm with a running boot. Storm with a waist lock and tries for a German suplex but Ray uses the ropes to block it. Ray with a forearm. Storm with a back heel kick but Ray with a super kick. Ray goes for a springboard move but Storm counters with a German suplex.

Storm sets for Storm Zero but Ray drops down. Storm with an STF and Storm tries to get to the ropes but the referee does not have to allow for rope breaks. Storm finally releases the hold. Storm kicks Ray. Ray with a rake of the eyes and a tornado DDT. Ray with a knee drop to the back. Ray sets for the Gory Bomb but Storm blocks it. Ray with a forearm and she gets Storm up and drops Storm on the top rope. Ray with another Gory Bomb set up and she turns it into a Gory Special. Storm is able to grab the ropes and she applies an octopus in the ropes and both women go to the floor. Storm looks under the ring and Storm gets a table instead of the kendo stick in plain sight.

Ray stomps on the hand and Storm with a punch. Storm sets up the table on the floor Ray sends Storm into the apron and then does it again. Ray goes to the turnbuckles for a superplex through the table but Storm stops Ray and Storm goes for a German suplex off the apron through the table but Ray blocks it. Storm drops Ray onto the turnbuckles. Storm puts Ray on the table and Storm goes to the turnbuckles for a splash and hits it through the table.

They go to the apron and Storm with forearms. Storm sets for a power bomb on the apron but Storm is sent into the ring and Storm with a forearm that sends Ray to the floor. Ray with a knee as Storm sets for a suicide dive. Ray with a hanging DDT to the floor. Ray goes under the ring and she has some tape. Ray picks up Toni and sends her into the ring. Ray with a boot to the back and then she tapes Storm’s wrists together behind her back. Ray slaps Storm and then goes to the floor. Ray gets a chair as Storm tries to free her hands. Storm with a head butt to Ray. Ray with a kick to the knee followed by a thrust kick. Ray puts Storm’s head on the chair and Ray with a super kick to the chair. Ray puts the chair against the back of the neck. Ray puts the chair around Storm’s head and Ray puts more pressure to the neck by standing on the legs of the chair.

Sid Scala and Johnny Saint come to the ring to try to talk to Toni and Kay Lee. Kay Lee stomps on the legs of the chair. Ray goes to the turnbuckles and she stomps on the chair as Piper Niven comes out and Toni refuses to give up. Ray goes back to the turnbuckles and Piper tries to tell Toni to give up. Storm says that she quits.

Winner: Kay Lee Ray (retains championship)
