AEW NOTES & NEWS LEADING INTO REVOLUTION PPV THIS SATURDAY

By Mike Johnson on 2020-02-24 10:13:00

It's a busy week for All Elite Wrestling.  They are finishing up commitments at the New York International Toy Fair today, promoting their forthcoming AEW action figure line from Jazwares/Wicked Cool Toys.

Tomorrow, the latest edition of AEW Dark will stream on YouTube, featuring:

*Jimmy Havoc vs. Marko Stunt.
*Falls Count Anywhere: Joey Janela vs. Kip Sabian in a Falls Count Anywhere match
*The Dark Order vs. CIMA and T-Hawk
*Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall vs. Peter Avalon and Shawn Spears.

Wednesday it will be the go-home show for this Sunday's Revolution PPV from Kansas City,  Missouri at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.  We are told the promotion is just a few hundred tickets short of selling out the taping, so if you want to go, don't wait for the day of the show.  The Dynamite episode on TNT will feature:

*PAC vs. Kenny Omega Iron Man Match.

*AEW Championship Match Weigh-Ins: Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley.

*The Butcher and the Blade vs. The Best Friends.

From there, AEW heads right to Chicago for the Revolution PPV and the C2E2 comic book/pop culture convention with Cody, Darby Allin, Dustin Rhodes, Hangman Page, Joey Janela, Jon Moxley, Jungle Boy, Kip Sabian, Luchasaurus, Marko Stunt, MJF, Orange Cassidy, Penelope Ford, SCU and The Young Bucks will all be signing at the C2E2 pop culture convention next weekend in Chicago.  For a complete schedule, click here.

There will be a panel with Cody, The Bucks and Excalibur talking all things AEW on Friday 2/28 at 12:15 PM local time as well.

Of course, Saturday will be the Revolution PPV, which as of this posting is 100% sold out, although there is a hope they will be able to add some seats once production moves in and they know if they can release any sections.  The PPV will feature:

*AEW Champion Chris Jericho vs. Jon Moxley.
*MJF vs. Cody.
*AEW Tag Team Champions Kenny Omega & Hangman Page vs. The Young Bucks.
*Dustin Rhodes vs. Jake Hager.
*Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara.

Kenny Omega will appear on Pro Wrestling DDT's 2020 Peter Pan Wrestling event, which is their marquee event of the year, on 6/7 at the Saitama Super Arena.

Shanna's ring gear last week on Dynamite was inspired by anime property Dragonball Z.

Paul Jordan sent the following:

All Elite Wrestling tweeted this ominous warning, telling the audience The Leader of the Dark Order "The Exalted One" will arrive soon

It would seem to indicate Lance Archer as the phrase "Everybody Dies" his tagline and part of the name of his finishing move, the EBD Claw...or it could be another red herring.
