WHO PUT TOGETHER THE GREAT TAG BATTLE ROYAL ON DYNAMITE, AEW AT TOY FAIR & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2020-02-22 13:46:00

The excellent Tag Team Battle Royal on Dynamite this past week was envisioned and laid out by Tony Khan, who put the match together.  The Young Bucks, BJ Whitmer and QT Marshall contributed to the match with the Bucks being the primary glue keeping it together in the ring.

Khan was also the person behind the idea of Samy Guevara using the signs to cut a promo on AEW TV, something that Darby Allin has appropriated since having his throat "injured" in the current storyline.  The lights going out for dramatic effect to build to Allin's reveal on Wednesday was also a Khan call.

Since we have received some emails about this, Austin Aries was just visiting at the Dynamite taping this week, nothing more in Atlanta.

The Raven appearance looks to have been a red herring to make viewers think he is the exalted one when there are plans to go in another direction.

Kenny Omega, Adam Page, MJF, Darby Allin, Brandi Rhodes, Cody and The Young Bucks are at the Toy Fair in New York today to promote the new AEW action figure line, which is the first major licensing for the company.  Wicked Cool Toys' Jeremy Padawer, who put the deal together, is the same person responsible for the creation of the old WWE Jakks Classics Superstars line, so AEW couldn't be in better hands here.

AEW tweeted the following video of Adam Page checking out his action figure at New York Toy Fair:
