NXT UK REPORT: DRAGUNOV VERSUS COFFEY, JINNY SPEAKS, I QUIT MATCH NEXT WEEK, AND MORE

We see Joe Coffey showing footage from Takeover. He says those things are not accidental. Ilja says he did not stand with Gallus at Takeover. He was against Imperium. Joe says Ilja made it his business. Joe says no man is invincible. He says he will leave his mark on Ilja.

We are in York, England and your announcers are Tom Phillips and Aiden English.

Match Number One: Tyler Bate versus Joseph Conners

They lock up and Bate with a side head lock and Conners with a head scissors and Bate escapes. Conners with a side head lock take down and Bate with a head scissors. Bate sets for a punch and Conners backs up. They lock up and Bate with a side head lock. Bate with a rana and drop kicks that send Conners to the floor. Conners grabs a chair and the referee warns Conners about using it.

Bate with arm drags into an arm bar. Bate with an Irish whip and a monkey flip. Bate goes for another monkey flip and Conners blocks it and Conners puts Bate on the turnbuckles. Conners with a forearm to knock Bate off the turnbuckles to the floor. Conners follows after Bate and Conners hot shots Bate on the apron. Conners with forearms to the back. Conners gets a near fall. Conners with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Conners with a kick to Bate. Conners with a back elbow for a near fall. Conners chokes Bate in the ropes.

Conners with a snap mare and chin bar. Conners tries for a back slide but Bate blocks it and he is able to get a back slide of his own for a near fall. Bate with a boot and knee lift. Bate with a flying European uppercut off the turnbuckles. Bate with a running European uppercut but Conners goes for a splash and Bate catches Conners and hits an exploder followed by a shooting star press for a near fall.

Bate gets Conners up and gives him an airplane spin but Conners with a sunset flip for a near fall. Bate with a jab and he gets a near fall with a rollup. Conners goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Bate lands on his feet. Bate misses the rebound clothesline. Conners with a twisting bulldog for a naer fall. Conners misses a moonsault.

Bate goes up top and he leaps over Conners. Conners with a tilt-a-whirl slam and clothesline that sends Bate over the top rope. Conners with a slingshot flatliner for a near fall. Conners with punches to the midsection followed by kicks and the referee warns Conners. Bate with punches and Conners punches back. Conners with a kick to the knee and Bate with a rolling kick to Conners. Bate sets for Tyler Driver 97 but Conners escapes and gets to the floor.

Bate with a plancha onto Conners. Conners with an elbow followed by a drop toe hold onto the chair that was dropped on the floor earlier in the match. Conners with a belly-to-back into a gourdbuster driver for a near fall. Conners goes for Don’t Look Down but Bate counters into a DDT and he follows with a round kick and rebound clothesline. Bate with Tyler Driver 97 for the three count.

Winner: Tyler Bate

We have a video package for the I Quit Match for the NXT UK Women’s Title. Toni Storm says when you think about the worst person, they always get what they want. Kay Lee Ray says she has no remorse for Toni. Toni says Kay Lee does not care about her and she takes what she wants. Kay Lee says Toni is one push away from being done and she will do it.

Toni asks for one more chance to take back her NXT UK title. Everything that she has done, finally ends. Kay Lee says Toni Time is over. She proved that she can beat Toni Storm. Toni cannot beat her and no one in the locker room can beat her. Toni says nothing can stop her and if you didn’t know what she would do to get the title back, Kay Lee didn’t really know her.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Dave Mastiff and WALTER stare each other down in front of Sid Scala and Johnny Saint. Sid says in two weeks, WALTER will defend the NXT UK Title against Dave Mastiff. WALTER says he sees that Johnny and Sid are doing their guy a favor. You might think you are a proper British Heavyweight, but WALTER says he is the best heavyweight in the world. This title is not going anywhere.

Jinny interrupts and she gets on the announce table. She says the Queen of NXT UK will now address you. Ever since I was a little girl, every command I had given had always been obeyed. When her previous associate disobeyed her, that was the end of her career. I do not tolerate insolence. I do not tolerate unprofessionalism. I do not tolerate disobedience. I made her relevant. I gave her a platform. I gave her her fifteen minutes of fame. I may give someone else that platofrm if they wish to be associated with her.

Now it is about one person and one person only, the Queen of NXT UK and no one will ever disrespect me again.

Tom tries to talk about the Dave Mastiff and WALTER match but Noam Dar’s music plays for his match.

Match Number Two: Noam Dar versus Josh Morrell

They lock up and Dar backs Morrell into the corner and he pushes Morrell on the break. They lock up and Dar pushes him again on the break but Josh pushes back. Dar with a waist lock take down and then he slaps at the head. Dar wants a test of strength and Morrell obliges. Morrell with a slap. Dar with a wrist lock and Morrell with a reversal. Dar kicks Morrell in the leg.

Morrell trips over Dar but Dar misses a kick. Morrell with a drop kick and snap mare. Morrell lands on his feet on a moonsault when Dar moves. Morrell with an Irish whip and running elbow into the corner. Morrell gets a near fall. Morrell counters a suplex into an inside cradle for a near fall. Dar sends Morrell over the top rope to the floo. Dar with a kick to the knee and Morrell lands on the apron. Dar with an arm drag into the ring and a running forearm for a near fall. Dar with punches and back fists to the shoulders. Morrell gets to the ropes to force Dar to release the hold.

Dar with kicks to the chest followed by forearms and punches. Morrell punches Dar and follows with a European uppercut. Morrell flips out of the corner but Dar with a clothesline. Dar with the Nova Roller for the three count.

Winner: Noam Dar

We go to The Hunt. Wild Boar says they heard what the Grizzled Young Veterans had to say and you are looking to the future. Primate says you should be looking behind you or over your shoulder. They are the Hunt and you are the hunted.

Next week we will see the Hunt versus The Grizzled Young Veterans.

We will also see Kay Lee Ray defend the NXT UK Women’s Title against Toni Storm in an I Quit Match.

We are back and next week NXT UK will air at 10 AM Eastern (due to the broadcast of Super Showdown). We are also reminded of the next NXT UK Takeover.

Jordan Devlin is asked why haven’t we seen him on NXT UK lately. Jordan says he has been busy as the Cruiserweight Champion but he will be back soon.

Match Number Three: Joe Coffey versus Ilja Dragunov

They lock up and Coffey backs Dragunov into the ropes but they go back into the center of the ring and Coffey with a snap mare but Dragunov escapes. Coffey with punches to Dragunov. Dragunov goes for the leg but Coffey blocks it. Dragunov with a front face lock into a reverse chin lock. Coffey with forearms and punches. Coffey with a side head lock take down. Coffey with a shoulder tackle.

Dragunov with a side head lock and Coffey with another shoulder tackle. Both men collide in the center of the ring. Both men do their poses in the center of the ring. Coffey misses punches and Dragunov with a forearm and then he is able to get Coffey down with a cross body despite Coffey catching him. Dragunov with a kick to send Coffey to the floor. Dragunov drop kicks Coffey off the apron.

Dragunov goes up top and hits a cross body onto Coffey. Dragunov sends Coffey back into the ring. Dragunov misses a double stomp off the turnbuckles but Coffey with a flying shoulder tackle that knocks Ilja to the floor. Coffey with punches to the ribs and then to the head. Coffey with more punches to Dragunov on the floor. Dragunov with chops. Coffey with a kick to the knee and then he Irish whips Ilja into the ring steps.

Ilja with a chop and he goes to the apron and he kicks Coffey. Coffey trips Ilja and Ilja falls on the apron before going to the floor. Coffey with a chop to Ilja and Ilja chops back. They go back and forth and then Coffey stomps on the knee. Coffey kicks the back of the leg and Dragunov falls to the mat. Coffey kicks the hamstring. Coffey with a knee drop to the injured leg. Ilja with a kick but Coffey with a chop and uppercut.

Coffey goes to the turnbuckles and he sets for a super atomic drop to the knee. Coffey turns Ilja over for a Boston Crab. Dragunov gets to the ropes and Coffey eventually releases the hold. Dragunov with a front face lock but Coffey gets to the leg. Coffey with a knee bar but Ilja kicks Coffey away. Coffey gets Ilja in an Electric Chair and tries for a German suplex but Ilja escapes. Ilja with a clothesline and both men are down.

Ilja with a waist lock but Joe with elbows to escape. Joe with a short arm clothesline and Dragunov with an enzuigiri. Dragunov with a wrist clutch German suplex and bridge for a near fall. Dragunov goes up topand hits the back senton for a near fall. Dragunov goes up top but his knee gives out and Coffey with a running European uppercut into the corner. He hits a few more and then Coffey sets for an overhead belly-to-belly superplex but Ilja blocks it and he punches Coffey. Coffey with an overhead belly-to-belly superplex and both men are down.

Coffey goes for a spear but Ilja with a running knee. Ilja with a chop and Coffey with a clothesline. Ilja gets Coffey on his shoulders but Coffey gets to his feet. Ilja avoids a running shoulder into the corner and Coffey hits the ring post. Ilja with a Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles. Ilja goes up top and Dragunov hits a coast to coast. Ilja sets for Torpedo Moscow but Coffey sets for All’s Best for the Bells but Ilja connects with Torpedo Moscow for the three count.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov

After the match, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang join Joe Coffey in the ring. Ilja is ready for a fight but Joe tells Ilja that he has paid his debt and they are all square.
