Could FITE.TV or YouTube be potential homes for WWE PPV material?
I don't believe FITE.TV is the type of player that is going to offer WWE the level of money they are looking for. YouTube is a very interesting one and honestly, one I should have listed in my initial article, because that is the home online for streaming content and they obviously know what WWE's worth is based on the advertising money they are paying WWE content for. They could certainly be in the hunt.
I saw you said the WWE VIP signings at AXXESS were sold out but this morning they have Rollins and Charlotte available?
They added additional signings on sale after our initial report on the sellouts, which is something I noted could happen.
Why doesn't WWE run the Meadowlands anymore?
It doesn't exist anymore. The building sits there vacant after The New Jersey Sports & Entertainment Board voted to close the IZOD Center in 2015 because it was losing so much money for the State at the time. Since then, bands rent it out to practice for tours but it's not open for usage as a destination for public events.
What was the dumbest thing in wrestling that you later came to appreciate?
This is a great question. Off the top of my head, I would think Papa Shango making the Ultimate Warrior puke in 1992, because it was horrible - so horrible that it inspired Tod Gordon to put money into creating ECW and putting on wrestling shows the likes that he wanted to watch. Without ECW, there's no PWInsider.com, so I will go with Shango and Warrior.
What's the worst part of your job?
I don't think there is a worst part of it, with the exception that I can't work 24/7 the way I did when I was younger. I always hate the idea of missing something important while I'm sleeping as well.
