WWE NXT REPORT: CHARLOTTE RETURNS TO FULL SAIL, DEVLIN APPEARS, WE FIND OUT WHAT THE 2/5/20 MEANT, AND MORE

We start off with a recap of last week's episode of NXT.  We also see Rhea Ripley challenging Charlotte Flair to face her at Wrestlemania.

We are at Full Sail University and your announcers are Mauro Ranallo, Beth Phoenix, and Nigel McGuinness.

Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne arrive in the BroMobile with the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy in the back.

Matt opens things with a BRO and he says they are the Dusty Classic Champions.  They have been celebrating ever since.  The celebration continues tonight.  Look at that gorgeous trophy set upon the new BroserweightMobile.  

Pete says the last thing he ever thought he would do would be in a tag team with Matt.  Matt says it was meant to be.  Pete says they have the trophy and at Takeover Portland, they become the new Tag Team Champions.  Matt says he has one question for Pete.  How will the three of them . . . 

Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish interrupt.  Kyle says he won't identify Matt Riddel and Peter Dune because they have ridiculed the Dusty Rhodes Classic troplhy.  Kyle says they don't want to wait until Portland.

Roderick Strong stops by and Bobby says they would love to put an end to their celebration, but your loserweight mobile is in the way and they have bigger fish to fry than you jerks.

Matt points out that Bobby Fish said Fish and that is hilarious.  Riddle asks How much Fish could Bobby Fish fry if Bobby Fish could fry fish..  Pete tells Matt not to worry about how many fish Bobby Fish could fry and Matt says it is a thing.  Pete says all that matters is that they are going to smoke the Undisputed Era at Takeover.

Match Number One:  Angel Garza versus Isaiah Scott

Scott misses a series of kicks and Garza misses some kicks too as the match starts.  Garza with a waist lock take down.  Garza kicks Scott in the leg.  Garza with a chop.  Garza pulls Scott to the ropes and Scott with a springboard rana.  Garza goes to the floor and Scott is able to stop his momentum as Garza gets on the apron.  Scott with a kick to Garza to send him to the floor.  Garza with a thrust kick when Scott goes for a springboard dive to the floor.  Garza sends Scott into the apron.  Garza puts Scott on the turnbuckles and Garza with forearms to the back.  Garza with a running kick with Scott in the tree of woe.  Garza with a head lock.

Garza with punches and Scott with a tilt-a-whirl power bomb and then he applies a cross arm breaker.  Garza is able to escape.  Garza sends Scott into the turnbuckles.  Garza with a snap mare and kicks to the back.  Garza with a leg drop to the upper groin area.  They exchange forearms.  Garza with punches in the corner and the referee warns Angel.  Garza with a chop and Scott chops back.  Scott with a drop toe hold into the turnbuckles.  Scott goes for a satellite head scissors but Garza counters with a gourdbuster.  Garza removes the pants and then he tosses them to Scott and hits a super kick for a near fall.

Garza sets for a slingshot reverse suplex but Scott lands on his feet and Scott with a German suplex and jumping flatliner for a near fall.  Scott with kicks and punches but Garza sends Scott to the apron.  Scott with an enzuigiri and he goes for a slingshot move but Garza with a super kick and both men are down.  Garza and Scott exchange chops.  Garza with head butta dns Scott with a power bomb for a near fall.  Scott waits for Garza to get up and Scott with a kick and he goes to the turnbuckles.  Garza with an enzuigiri.  Garza with a head butt and he goes for a Frankensteiner but Scott pushes Garza off and Garza lands on his feet.  Scott comes off the turnbuckles and Garza tosses his pants at Scott.  Scott tosses them back and Garza with a jumping back kick for a near fall.

Scott goes for a half and half suplex and then he sends Garza into the turnbuckles.  Scott goes to the turnbuckles and Garza pulls Scott off.  Garza with the Wing Clipper for the three count.

Winner:  Angel Garza

After the match, Angel Garza mentions that he just beat Swerve.  This past Monday, he took out his cousin Humberto Carrillo.  And Rey Mysterio.  Garza says he did not lose his title so he wants his title back.  He says he knows that Jordan Devlin is in this building, so he says he will be watching Jordan.  

We go to the back and Bobby Fish has a camera man with the Undisputed Era.  They work over some people in the back as they look for Tommaso Ciampa.  Adam asks someone getting a haircut if he has seen Ciampa.  Strong goes back and he adds something to the haircut with some clippers.  They go outside and ask people if they have seen Ciampa.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Mercedes Martinez feature.  She says every female better watch their back.

We see Sergeant Slaughter in the crowd.

We see footage from earlier today when Killian Dain confronted Dominik Dijakovic at the Performance Center.

Match Number Two:  Dominik Dijakovic versus Killian Dain

Dain runs Dijakovic into the turnbuckles and he punches Dominik.  Dijakovic with an elbow and forearm.  Dain with a knee and punches.  Dain with an Irish whip and he misess a splash into the corner.  Dijakovic with an elbow and forearm off the turnbuckles.  Dominik with forearms and Dain drops Dijakovic on the top rope and Dain clotheslines Dijakovic over the top rope to the floor.  Dain goes for a power slam into the ring steps but Dijakovic escapes.  Dain is sent into teh steps and Dijakovic with a cannonball off the steps.  Dain with a running cross body when Dijakovic goes for a cyclone kick.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Dijakovic and Dain exchange forearms.  Dain goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Dijakovic lands on his feet.  Dijakovic goes for a suplex throw and he gets Dain up.  Dijakovic with a choke bomb for a near fall.  Dain stops Dijakovic on the turnbuckles and hits a fisherman's superplex.  Dijakovic with a boot to Dain and Dain with a bicycle kick.  Dijakovic with a cyclone kick for a near fall.  Dijakovic goes up topand misses a moonsault.  Dain with a running drop kick that sends Dijakovic into the turnbuckles.  Dain with a back senton and Dijakovic grabs Dain when Dain goes for a Vader Bomb.  DIjakovic with a boot and he gets Dain on his shoulders for Feast Your Eyes and the three count.

Winner:  Dominik Dijakovic

We are told that Dijakovic will face Keith Lee for the North American Championship at Takeover and Keith Lee makes his way to the stage.

Keith tells Dijakovic the news about their match and he asks Dominik if he is happy.

We see the Undisputed Era and they stop to ask KUSHIDA if he has seen Ciampa.  KUSHIDA pushes Cole but Cole with punches and he gives KUSHIDA a Death Valley Driver into a dumpster.  They see Bronson Reed and tell them they don't have a problem with him, but Strong with a jumping knee.  The search continues.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we take a look at the Johnny Gargano versus Finn Balor match and they are both in split screen.

Balor interrupts Mauro's question and Finn says this was supposed to take place at WarGames but Johnny was not cleared.  Johnny says he has been counting down the days since WarGames to get his hands on Finn.  Finn says he has been counting the days for four years.  We will find out that Johnny is not the next Finn Balor.  Johnny says he is not the next Finn Balor, he is the first Johnny Gargano.  A triple crown champion and the most Tekeover matches.  Johnny says Finn needs this match as much as him.  Finn says he does not care if the match is 20 seconds or 20 minutes, he is not paid by the hour.  Johnny says that is the guy he wants in Portland.  He wants NXT FInn Balor, not Raw or Smackdown Finn Balor who lost to Bobby Lashley 17 weeks in a row.  If that Finn shows up, he will eat him alive.  Finn says he is not here for Match of the Year, he is here for the Match of Johnny's Life.  It will be Johnny's last match.  Johnny says he will take the NXT Flag and drive it through Finn's heart.  Johnny gets up and leaves, but Finn says he doesn't have a heart.

Match Number Three:  Mercedes Martinez versus Kacy Catanzaro

Kacy with a waist lock and Martinez with a standing switch and spinebuster for a near fall.  Martinez with forearms and a chop.  Martinez gets Kacy up for a delayed vertical suplex and Kacy gets to her feet and Kacy with a double leg take down and drop kick.  Kacy with a head scissors take down and clothesline into the corner.  Kacy with a head scissors but Martinez pushes her away.  Kacy with a rana and she gets a near fall.  Kacy goes to the apron and Martinez with a forearm to stop a slingshot move.  Martinez sends Kacy face first into the ring post.  Martinez sends Kacy into the guardrails a few times.  Martinez sends Kacy back into the ring and Martinez with a fisherman's buster for the three count.

Winner:  Mercedes Martinez

We see Rhea Ripley in the back and Cathy Kelley asks Rhea about the challenge she made to Charlotte Flair.  Rhea says she is more concerned tonight about Bianca Belair, but it is nice that Charlotte is going to show up.
