Camera crews were filming Edge from the second he landed this morning in Houston for a future WWE Network documentary project. WWE has already released a new official Edge t-shirt. I would expect some Edge-related content pushed on WWE Network this week.
Nothing of note happened after the Royal Rumble went off the air.
Backstage at the Rumble were Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Xavier Woods, Rhea Ripley, Ruby Riott, Ember Moon and Nia Jax, among others.
Santina Marella’s appearance was a one time thing and he is not slated for WWE TV this week.
Sasha Banks was listed as a Rumble competitor over the weekend internally. We are told it appears Kelly Kelly ended up with her slot in the Rumble.
Paige was not backstage.
There was talk that The Miz and John Morrison will be reviving their “Dirt Sheet” segment and may have already filmed some content for it over the weekend.
NFL star Adrian Peterson was visiting at the PPV.
The official announced live attendance was 42,713 and is now the official highest attendance in Minute Maid Park for an entertainment event.
