AEW GOING MORE HARDCORE, WHEN A TITLE DOESN’T NEED A NAME, EVERY MATCH DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THE WRESTLER’S GREATEST HITS AND MORE

Are the rumors true about Vince McMahon and Pat Patterson acting inappropriately at Rocky Johnsons funeral?

I don’t know, I wasn’t there.  I know it started with Superstar Billy Graham making comments, even though he wasn’t even there, making assertions against the two men.  Then I saw that Johnson’s family responded and said there was no issue.  Given Graham wasn’t even there, I find this to be a non-story.

If taking women’s aspect off the NXT Women’s title is to make it so it’s just another title, then men should challenge for since it’s not a gender specific title anymore.

Uh, no.  The point was the fact that it was a women’s Title was implied.  Just like Adam Cole is the NXT Champion and the fact that it’s a Title for men is implied.  There is no reason to include “women” in Rhea Ripley’s Title name.

Is it just me or has Pete Dunne stopped or toned down the joint manipulation stuff.  I feel like I've seen several matches in a row where he hasn't done the finger snap thing he was doing so often.

I think he is lessened it, which I have no issue with.  It grows his character.  I don’t think ever match a talent has needs to be a greatest hits of all of their moves.

I noticed that AEW curses a lot.  MJF even did a middle finger this week.  Is that part of their marketing plan?

I think so.  I think they are trying to be more like WWE was in the Attitude Era and have a rougher edge to the product.  It's ironic that TNT used to have Standards and Practices that precluded that kind of thing.  It makes sense to try and go after an audience that they feel is not being served.

Also, what you think of AEW using all of the insider lingo?

Personally, I don't care for it because I find it unnecessary.  I don't think that they need to pull the curtain back that far, especially to their hardcore fan base that understands how the business works.  But if their fan base likes it, and they pop for the insider lingo, that is what matters.
