Match 1: Yota Tsuji and Audaz vs. Namajague and Luciferno
Namajague pins Tsuji with a bridging German suplex.
Match 2: Guerrero Maya Jr., Flyer and Soberano Jr. vs. DOUKI, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Tiger
Soberano Jr. pins DOUKI with an inverted sit-down piledriver. Good match!
Match 3: Titan, Niebra Roja and Angel de Oro vs. Forastero, Cuatrero and Sanson
Angel de Oro gets a victory on Sanson with rocking chair submission. Great match.
Match 4 - NWA World Historic Light Heavyweight Championship: Stuka Jr. vs. OKUMURA
OKUMURA is accompanied to the ring by Mima Shimoda (who wrestled in Mexico). Stuka Jr. has held the title for 520 days. Audaz comes to the ring with Stuka. OKUMURA ripped off Stuka’s mask, which the referee did not see, and went for a small package. Stuka kicked out at two and slipped his mask back on while OKUMURA was arguing with the referee. Stuka hits a splash from the top rope which OKUMURA used his momentum to roll up Stuka for a two count. Shimoda jumped in the ring and attacked Stuka. Stuka kicked Shimoda and suplexed her onto OKUMURA. Shimoda rolls out of the ring. Stuka Jr. hits another top rope splash and pins OKUMURA. Fun match!
The Young Lions assist OKUMURA back to the locker room. The title vs. hair stipulation mentioned last night was not mentioned.
Match 5: Ryusuke Taguchi, Fuego and Dulce Gardenia vs. BUSHI, Shingo Takagi and EVIL
Lots of comedy spots in this match. The end came when Fuego held BUSHI for a kiss by Gardenia. BUSHI sprayed the black mist in Gardenia’s face. Fuego tosses BUSHI into the ropes and BUSHI reverses it into a BUSHI Roll for the pin and win.
Match 6 - CMLL World Heavyweight Championship: Satoshi Kojima vs. Ultimo Guerrero
Ryusuke Taguchi accompanies Kojima to the ring. Luciferno accompanies Guerrero to the ring. Stiff match. Guerrero hit a Guerrero Special (reverse suplex from the top rope) on Kojima to retain the title.
Match 7: Tiger Mask, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Caristico vs. Barbaro Cavernario, Euforia and Negro Casas
This match is called the “Black Cat Memorial Match”. This match honors the relationship between Japanese wrestling and Lucha Libre. They introduced members of Black Cat’s family. They also had leaders from NJPW and CMLL shaking hands in the ring. They presented Black Cat’s widow with a bouquet and a special plaque.
Good high spot match. Tanahashi pins Casas with a top rope splash for the win. Caristico still looks great.
Barbaro Cavernario takes the mic and cuts a promo on Caristico for their NWA World Historic Middleweight Championship match tomorrow. Caristico issues another challenge that he will put up his mask for Barbaro’s hair in tomorrow’s match. Barbaro retreats the ring so the stipulation is To Be Determined.
Tanahashi closes out the night by speaking of and showing his appreciation for the late Black Cat and for the fans in attendance.
