Creative Services Talent Coordinator

About the Job ­­­­

As part of the WWE Creative Services team, your core responsibility is to represent Creative Services as a liaison between the department and developing Talent on location at our Orlando, Florida, training facility. As Creative Services Talent Manager, you will be the first point of contact for Talent to share their individual character and branding ideas, logos, costuming, merchandise etc. You will gather all information, visual references and talent ideas and be responsible for clearly articulating Talent’s project objectives to the Creative Director.

You will maintain smooth flow of the process, progress, communication and tasks of Creative Services during the conceptual process. Your ability to adapt to the various internal procedures of Creative Services, and to form a strong, positive working relationship with Talent is essential. Your goal is always a successful outcome for individualized brand creative -- assuring that it is authentic to the character, original, well-crafted and above all, realized with the Talent’s satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in-house at the WWE Performance Center (Orlando, FL)
  • Be the liaison for Talent to communicate with Creative Services at Headquarters in Stamford, CT
  • Establish and maintain a professional relationship with Talent in regard to their individual brand aesthetics, logo, style, costuming, etc.
  • Justify talent ideas with smart rationale, while staying open to other effective solutions
  • Provide clear and detailed reports to Creative Services and Executive Staff for approvals
  • Work directly with Creative Director, Project Managers, Copywriters, and Art Directors
  •  Present creative direction/feedback to talent
  • Work with NXT Creative Writing Staff to develop and maintain hierarchy of tasks
  • Meet regularly with NXT Creative Writing Staff to organize ideas on character identities and storylines
  • Lead weekly meetings with Creative Services and NXT Creative Writing Staff to ensure all projects are advancing in accordance to storyline/delivery time
  • Coordinate with writing team to ensure all creative elements have been provided in advance of television tapings (i.e., sideplates for championship belts, banners for promos, etc.)
  • Work with merchandise team at NXT television tapings to help organize talent for merchandise signing
  • Manage projects through all phases of inception, design, approvals, and production
  • Keep organized records of all communication
  • Keep track of IP Creation and rollout schedules
  • Keep current with WWE programs, characters, storylines, and products

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years’ experience at similar entertainment company, or design agency, with public relations, project management and/or hands-on design experience
  • Must be an extreme self-starter with the ability to create and/or enhance creative processes and practices
  • Able to think and react calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), including the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to a wide range of clients and stakeholders
  • Able to absorb and reiterate direction with flexibility to roll with revisions
  • Collaborative with a solutions-oriented attitude and willingness to pitch in
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Reliable, punctual, self-directed
  • Knowledge of sports and entertainment a plus
  • A good understanding of social, cultural and pop trends
  • Bachelor’s degree/Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and FileMaker Pro
  • Occasional travel
