BOBBY FULTON UPDATE

Bobby Fulton, best known as one-half of the Fantastics tag team with the late Tommy Rogers, announced this evening on his Facebook page that he will begin radiation and chemotherapy to combat throat cancer, which he was diagnosed with last month.

Fulton, 59, has been wrestling since he was 16, originally in Ohio before working for a number of different territories including Memphis, Mid-South, World Class Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, WCW, Smoky Mountain Wrestling and internationally, Stampede Wrestling and All Japan Pro Wrestling.  He and Rogers were one of the best teams of the 1980s, specifically when feuding with The Midnight Express and The Sheepherders.  Fulton made at least one appearance in the WWF in the late 1990s.  In recent years, Fulton has remained active around professional wrestling, promoting and occasionally still wrestling while making appearances at different wrestling convention and signing events.

Last month, Fulton announced his diagnosis, writing, "Good Evening! It’s Friday December 6 at 11pm. As you know or most know, I had a very important Doctors Appointment today. The News wasn’t what I wanted to hear. God My Heavenly Father has never done me wrong ever! I serve a mighty God. A risen Savior in my Lord Jesus Christ. I want no sympathy! I’m just informing you, that I have cancer in my throat. That’s gonna be treated the game plan is being put together on this coming Tuesday. I want your continued prayers. ALL THINGS work together for good for those that loves God. That are CALLED according to his PURPOSE. No sympathy just prayers. Thanks"
