WWE's promotional push over the weekend to have Corbin, Kentucky renamed King Corbin, Kentucky, which was done to promote WWE's live event in the city was successful.
WWE ran an article on their website today, showcasing a proclamation from Mayor Suzie Razmus, announcing the city's name was officially changed to "Baron Corbin, Kentucky" for one day, yesterday 1/12/20.
Earlier in the day, Corbin and WWE reps were in front of the Colonel Sanders statue in downtown Corbin Sunday afternoon, collecting signatures to join Corbin's petition for the name change. WWE cameras filmed all of the events yesterday so they could be incorporated into future WWE programming.
