HARD TO KILL INJURIES, BRIAN CAGE UPDATE, NYC AND MORE IMPACT WRESTLING NOTES

Brian Cage did not work against Rob Van Dam at Hard to Kill due to a torn bicep.  SoCalUncensored.com is reporting Cage is signing with All Elite Wrestling, but the injury was the reason Cage did not compete.  It should be noted that Cage's wife, Melissa Santos, is stating he has not signed anything with AEW.

Madman Fulton suffered a shoulder injury towards the end of his match with Ken Shamrock.  Shamrock noted after the match that he never wants to see anyone get hurt and hoped Fulton was going to be OK.

Ace Austin stated he may have hurt his eardrum during his match against Trey Miguel tonight.

Rich Swann had his foot and ankle wrapped all the way up to below the knee and was on crutches at the PPV.

There were a number of young girls in the crowd crying after Tessa Blanchard captured the Impact Championship from Sami Callihan.

After the PPV went off the air, Tessa Blanchard addressed the crowd and was then cheered on and celebrated by the Impact babyfaces and producers.

Taya Valkyrie teased the idea of her vs. Tessa Blanchard, title vs. title during post-match interviews backstage.

Impact announced an April PPV, Rebellion, for April 2020 at Terminal 5 in New York City.

A number of behind the scenes personalities were fighting off sickness at the PPV.  It was a rough weekend for a lot of those who work behind the scenes.

Alisha Edwards was backstage.

Ed Nordholm was backstage as well.

Johnny Mantel was visiting at the show.
