With the new surge of awesome gimmicks on the independent scene (Space Monkey, Danhausen, Warhorse, Dan The Dad etc) who do you think stands out and who do you think will be the next to catch on with an international audience?
I would have said Kris Statlander, but she's already been picked up by AEW. I really like Space Monkey, though!
I saw The Young Bucks quit Twitter. Do you think its hypocritical of them to abandon the same social media forum that helped launch them?
No, I don't, because let's face it, a lot of social media is anonymous people telling you how horrible and how terrible you suck. After an angle that obviously fell short, why does anyone, especially on Christmas week, want to be told over and over again that what they did sucked? I don't blame the Bucks and I don't blame anyone else that doesn't want the consistent negativity thrust upon them. I am shocked they did it and we'll see how long it lasts, but let's face it, there's far more bad than good on social media, because there's no accountability. That said, I wouldn't have deleted the accounts. They could just leave them sitting there for the same effect.
What's the best Wrestling-related Christmas gift you ever received?
I guess I would have to say my dad taking my to my first-ever live event the day after Christmas in 1986. As a 12-year old at the time, what could beat seeing WWF in Madison Square Garden?
Is ROH done in 2020?
I say no. As long as Joe Koff is there, I believe ROH will remain in existence. I think they will have a far better 2020.
What do you think is the best entrance music of all time?
I have always been partial to the Midnight Express theme. Second would be the Jushin Liger theme song.
