Former WWE star Sin Cara announced last night that he will be competing under the name Cinta de Oro going forward. That was the name of a lucha talent from the late 1980s. Cara posed for a photo with the original Oro's sons, stating that they have given him their blessing to use the ring name:
Although WWE traditionally has a 90 day no compete, we are told that Cara is telling those reaching out to book him that he has no such clause. We are also told he is close to signing a contract with AAA in Mexico. He returned to that promotion over the weekend, doing a run-in.
Cara was officially released by WWE several weeks after requesting to depart.
