Match Number One: Isla Dawn versus Kay Lee Ray in a Non Title Match
They lock up and Ray with a wrist lock and Dawn with a reversal. Ray with a slap and side head lock. Ray with a boot to the head and Dawn with a cross body for a near fall. Ray misses a drop kick when Dawn holds on to the ropes. Dawn with a rollup for a near fall. Ray gets Dawn up in the Gory Special but Dawn counters with a Code Red for a near fall.
Dawn with a drop kick and misses a running knee into the corner and hits the turnbuckles. The referee checks on Dawn to see if she can continue. Dawn blocks a suplex and Dawn with a waist lock but Ray holds on to the ropes on an O’Connor Roll attempt. Dawn falls to the mat and Ray with a gourdbuster for a near fall. Ray with forearms to the back. Ray puts Dawn’s injured leg in the ropes and Dawn tries to kick Ray to escape. Ray misses a kick into the turnbuckles and Dawn with a Saito suplex.
Dawn with a running knee into the corner and Dawn goes up top and hits Meteora for a near fall. Ray with a rake of the eyes followed by a kick to the knee and a thrust kick. Ray gets Dawn up for the Gory Bomb and the three count.
Winner: Kay Lee Ray
After the match, Kay Lee has something to say. She says the NXT UK Women’s Champion proved how dominant she is. She says she has complete control. She proved that she is in the mind of Toni Storm and she has her friend Piper Niven rattled as well.
Piper Niven makes her way to the ring but Toni Storm runs past Piper and goes into the ring. Ray pushes Storm into Niven and Ray escapes.
Toni and Piper have words for each other. Toni tells Piper to back off while Piper argues with Toni. Meanwhile Kay Lee is laughing at all of this.
Sid Scala comes out and says if this is going to continue, there is one way to resolve this. At Takeover, Kay Lee Ray will defend the title against Piper Niven . . . and Toni Storm in a Triple Threat Match.
Jordan Devlin welcomes everyone to the latest “Best of NXT UK”. Jordan says he got a little grief for not including the rest of the NXT UK roster so that is what he will do tonight.
This is the Best of the Rest. We see Grizzled Young Veterans and Mustache Mountain for the NXT UK Tag Titles. He mentions how Tyler Bate and his elderly father could not win. We see Tyler Bate being attacked by WALTER at Download. He has one more clip and it is Tyler versus WALTER from Takeover in Cardiff when Jordan Devlin was asked to sit on the bench. Tyler’s big moment to take NXT UK back and vanquish Imperium and it didn’t happen.
That is what happens when you put your faith in Tyler Bate. He may claim to be the star of this brand, but there is only one Ace.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Joe Coffey was asked about what it would mean if he became the WWE UK Champion. He says it is the biggest score in NXT UK. NXT UK Takeover last year, WALTER attacked him and left a mark on him. Gallus won’t take too kindly to that. He will leave his mark on WALTER and Imperium. He will take that WWE UK Championship. Gallus will be on top. Joe says this is their Kingdom.
Match Number Two: Michael May versus Trent Seven
Before the match starts, Eddie Dennis attacks Michael May and sends May into the ringside barrier and ring steps. Eddie tells Trent this is a gift for him. Trent checks on Michael as Eddie leaves through the crowd.
Tom and Nigel try to figure out what Eddie Dennis is doing.
We go to Radzi with Noam Dar. Radzi asks Noam about his contractual claims. Noam says they are facts. Noam says he will show Radzi a copy of the contract and they go to Johnny Saint’s office.
Johnny and Sid come out and Noam mentions that they are saving the best for last to announce his match. Noam says he will be taking a holiday until Takeover.
Sid says the terms of the contract might not be what you think. Next week, you will be facing Tyler Bate.

Match Number Two: Jack Starz versus Ridge Holland
Holland biels Starz across the ring and hits a running shoulder tackle. Holland with a hard Irish whip and head and arm overhead suplex. Holland with kicks and the referee warns Holland. Starz with punches but Holland with a knee to stop Starz. Holland with knees and a European uppercut. Starz traps the arms and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Holland with a knee and elbow in the corner. Holland with an Irish whip but he misses a splash into the corner. Starz with a side head lock and then he punches Holland and it staggers Ridge.
Starz with a drop kick and running European uppercuts. Holland with a POUNCE to Starz and Holland follows with a forearm. Ridge with Northern Grit for the three count.
Winner: Ridge Holland
We go to Kenny Williams at the Performance Centre and Amir Jordan is back and he mentions they will be tagging again. Amir says this means they are dancing again and Kenny walks away.

Match Number Three: Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel versus Mark Coffey and Wolfgang for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships
The referee does his best to maintain control before the bell rings. Aichner and Wolfgang start things off and Wolfgang with forearms while Aichner has an arm bar. Mark tags in and he connects with forearms. Aichner with a side head lock and elbows followed by a take down. Barthel tags in and Marcel with an arm drag into an arm bar.
Barthel puts his boot against Mark’s jaw. Barthel with a wrist lock and a take down into a top wrist lock. Aichner tags in and punches Mark and applies an arm bar. Mark goes for an O’Connor Roll but Fabian holds on to the ropes. Mark with a flying shoulder tackle and Wolfgang tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle. Wolfgang lifts Aichner up by the arm and brings him back to the mat. Wolfgang with a flying shoulder tackle and Mark tags in.
Mark and Wolfgang with chops and Aichner is propelled across the ring. Mark and Wolfgang do the same to Barthel. Wolfgang sends Barthel onto Mark’s shoulders but Marcel with a rake of the eyes and Barthel and Aichner with a double drop kick to Mark. Aichner sends Mark into the corner and connects with kicks, forearms, and chops. The referee warns Aichner to listen to his instructions. Aichner with a kick to the arm.
Barthel tags in and he punches Mark in the ribs. Barthel chokes Mark in the corner. Marcel with punches and head butts followed by more punches until the referee pushes Barthel off Mark. The referee signals for the medical staff to check on Mark. Mark wants the match to continue and he punches Barthel and connects with forearms.
Barthel with a head butt and he kicks Mark in the corner. Aichner tags in and he chokes Mark. Aichner with a short arm clothesline and then he hits a second one. Fabian with a knee and Irish whip but Mark with a forearm to Barthel. Aichner is back dropped over the top rope to the floor. Mark crawls across the ring but Aichner gets in the way and Mark with a back body drop and Wolfgang with the tag. Wolfgang with clotheslines to Barthel followed by an Irish whip and cross body into the corner. Wolfgang knocks Aichner down from the apron.
Wolfgang with a double sledge off the turnbuckles and then he presses Barthel over his head and he tosses Marcel onto Fabian. Wolfgang with a suplex to Aichner for a near fall. Mark tags in and Wolfgang catapults Fabian to Mark for a Samoan drop and a near fall. Wolfgang tags in and Fabian kicks Mark and Wolfgang. Mark knocks Barthel off the apron and Mark with a forearm. Mark misses a splash into the corner. Barthel is sent onto the apron by Mark.
Wolfgang slingshots in and Fabian with a spinebuster and Barthel with a kick for a near fall. Aichner tags in and Barthel goes ot the turnbuckles but Mark grabs Barthel and Aichner kicks Mark to the floor. Wolfgang with punches to Aichner and Barthel. Barthel with a flatliner and Fabian with a suplex. Mark with a forearm to Barthel after sending Fabian to the floor. Marcel and Mark exchange punches and forearms. Marcel with a running European uppercut followed by an enzuigiri and suplex. Marcel comes off the turnbuckles and Mark with a forearm. Aichner with a Finlay Slam and moonsault but Wolfgang with a spear to Aichner and everyone is down.
James Drake and Zack Gibson come out and they take the title belts. Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews stop them and they fight into the ring.
The referee calls for the bell.
No Contest
After the match, Andrews with a plancha onto Drake and Gibson followed by a plancha from Wolfgang onto Mark, Barthel, and Aichner.
Johnny Saint and Sid Scala come out and Sid says these championships will not be disrespected any longer. The next time you see these championships, they will be hanging above the ring at the Empress Ballroom. At Takeover, it will be a four way ladder match.
