WWE NXT UK REPORT: WE HAVE A MAIN EVENT FOR TAKEOVER, TONI STORM, PIPER NIVEN, TRIPLE THREAT MATCH, AND MORE

We are in Hull, England and your announcers are Tom Phillips and Nigel McGuinness.

We see Gallus and Imperium walking in the back of the arena as we prepare for Joe Coffey and WALTER’s situation to come to a boiling point.

Match Number One: Toni Storm versus Killer Kelly

Storm blocks a kick and Storm sends Kelly face first into the mat and follows with a drop kick. Storm with European uppercuts and strikes followed by a back heel kick and a running boot to the head. Kelly with a double thrust to the throat and she follows with cross faces and a kick to the back. Kelly with a chin bar. Storm with elbows but Kelly with an uppercut.

Kelly with a snap mare and she goes for a running kick but Storm with a block and a clothesline. Storm goes for Storm Zero but Kelly counters with a rollup for a near fall. Kelly with kicks but she runs into a thrust kick. Storm with a German suplex followed by Storm Zero for the three count.

Winner: Toni Storm

After the match, Toni has something to say.

Before she can speak, NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray attacks Storm from behind.

Piper Niven makes her way to the ring and Kay Lee gets to the floor before Niven can do anything to her.

Piper turns to Toni and offers her hand to help Toni up but Toni gets up by herself.

Toni has some words for Piper and Piper is not backing down from Toni. Toni walks past Piper and leaves the ring.

Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster are asked about the comments from the Grizzled Young Veterans. Flash says they agree with Grizzled Young Veterans, but there are no number one contenders for the tag titles. Flash says they know they had that match won. Mark says both Grizzled Young Veterans and Gallus know they are entitled to a title match. They want to prove that they are not a one hit wonder. He says they are the most exciting team in NXT UK. They want another chance to prove it at Takeover Blackpool.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Toni Storm continues to walk away from Piper Niven. Toni says she does not need Piper’s help.

Match Number Two: Wild Boar and Primate versus Riddick Moss and Dorian Mak

Boar and Moss start things off. They lock up and Boar with a wrist lock and arm wringer. Primate tags in and he punches Moss. Primate with a wrist lock and uppercut to the arm. Boar tags in and he punches Moss. Moss with a forearm and Boar punches Moss a few times. Moss with an Irish whip and a running shoulder into the corner.

Mak tags in and hits a running shoulder tackle. Mak with knees to the midsection. Mak picks up Boar and tags in Moss and Moss with a running back elbow. Moss kicks Boar in the head and then he mocks Primate. Boar with punches to the midsection. Moss with forearms in the corner. Moss with kicks in the corner.

Mak tags in and Moss with a punch. Mak tells Boar to try to make the tag to Primate. Boar with a punch but Mak with a knee and Primate is knocked off the apron. Mak with a back breaker for a near fall. Mak argues with the referee and then he applies a bear hug on Boar. Boar boxes the ears and he gets out of the hold. Boar bites Mak’s hand and then he knocks Moss off the apron. Mak with a chokebreaker to Boar.

Moss tags in and he does a Jericho cover for a near fall. Moss with punches and shoulders in the corner. Moss misses a shoulder in the corner when Boar moves. Mak and Primate tag in and Primate with a springboard head butt and punches. Primate with a drop kick to Mak and a back body drop to Moss. Mak misses a boot in the corner and Primate with clotheslines to Moss and Mak in the corner. Moss hits Mak when Primate moves. Boar with an exploder to Moss. Boar with a shoulder off Primate’s back.

Boar with a splash off the apron onto Moss. Primate with a diving head butt and Boar hits one as well. Primate hits another diving head butt. Boar tags in and they hit a double diving head butt for the three count.

Winners: Primate and Wild Boar

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Jordan Devlin versus A-Kid

Devlin has some words for A-Kid before locking up. Devlin misses a punch and A-Kid with a side head lock take down. A-Kid works on the legs and applies a bow and arrow but Devlin with a lateral press for a near fall. Devlin with a forearm and A-Kid with a kick and an arm drag followed by a drop kick.

A-Kid sends Devlin over the top rope to the floor and A-Kid with a rollup for a near fall. A-Kid with a forearm from the apron and he goes for a springboard move but Devlin with a kick to the legs and A-Kid goes down and holds his leg. Devlin drives the knee into the mat and follows with a forearm. Devlin with an atomic drop to the knee. Devlin puts the leg in the ropes and he slaps A-Kid before dropping a knee on the leg hanging in the ropes.

Tyler Bate makes his way to ringside to watch the match.

Devlin sees Bate and Devlin has a message for Bate as he twists the leg in an inhuman way. Devlin stomps on the knee. Devlin with a near fall in a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock. A-Kid with bridges to escape the hold. A-Kid with a moonsault into a DDT and both men are down. A-Kid misses a round kick and Devlin goes to the floor. A-Kid with a suicide dive.

A-Kid goes up top and hits a cross body but Devlin rolls through to avoid the cover. A-Kid with a waist lock and he avoids an elbow and hits a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Devlin with an Irish whip and A-Kid’s knee gives out. Devlin with a slingshot cutter and he gets a near fall.

Devlin goes for the Devil Inside but A-Kid with a Destroyer and Devlin goes to the floor. A-Kid with a double jump moonsault onto Devlin on the floor.

Bate checks on A-Kid as the referee makes his count. Devlin gets back into the ring. A-Kid gets back into the ring and Devlin with a kick to the head as A-Kid returns to the ring. Devlin with Kawada Kicks to the head and he blows a kiss to Bate and hits the Devil Inside for the three count.

Winner: Jordan Devlin

We go to commercial.

We are back with Jinny and Jazzy Gabbert in the back. Jinny says Piper Niven beat her. She beat the Queen of NXT UK. Disrespect was horrific. Jazzy Gabbert got ejected from ringside. That is more disrespect. She says everything is fine between her and Jazzy. Jazzy says things are absolutely fine.

Match Number Four: Joseph Conners versus Ligero versus Travis Banks

Banks and Ligero go after Conners and both with punches and kicks to Conners. Banks with a snap mare to Conners and a kick to the back. Ligero says that was good but he chops Conners. Banks with a kick to the back and Ligero with a chop. Banks and Ligero continue with the chops and kicks to Conners and he has had enough.

Ligero and Banks look at each other and hit a double super kick on Conners. Banks with a near fall and then he gets a near fall with a La Magistral. Ligero with a rollup for a near fall. Ligero goes for a back slide but Banks blocks it and they go to the mat. Conners rolls up both men and gets a near fall. Banks with a chop to Conners and then a back heel kick. Ligero is caught by Conners and Banks and Banks with an arm drag. Ligero with a kick to Conners.

Banks sends Ligero to the apron and Ligero with an enzuigiri. Conners misses a splash into the corner and Ligero with a double cutter. Ligero with a baseball slide and then he is sent off the ropes and Ligero with a head scissors take down to Conners. Banks with a kick to Ligero and a suicide dive to Conners. Banks sends Conners back into the ring and Banks with a double stomp off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Banks with a drop kick to Conners and then Banks trips Ligero into Conners in the corner and Banks with a near fall on Ligero.

Banks goes for a suplex but Ligero escapes and he gets a near fall with an O’Connor Roll but Conners with a DDT and then he hits a double rolling neck snap. Conners gets a near fall on Banks and then on Ligero. Conners with a short arm clothesline on Ligero for a near fall. Conners kicks Banks and Banks with punches to the ribs. Conners runs Banks into the corner and connects with an elbow and chops. Conners with a forearm to the back.

Conners with a chop to Banks and he puts Banks on the turnbuckles and connects with a forearm. Conners sets for a superplex on Banks but Banks blocks it and Banks drops Conners face first to the mat. Ligero with a super arm drag that sends Banks into Conners. All three men are down. Ligero goes to the apron with Banks and Ligero with a forearm Banks with a chop. Ligero with a chop and then Banks chops back. Banks sets for a brainbuster on the apron but both men fall off the apron. Ligero with a leg sweep and Banks lands on Ligero. Conners with a forearm to knock Ligero down on the apron.

Conners tries to suplex Ligero into the ring and Ligero suplexes Conners to the apron. Conners kicks Ligero and then hits a double stomp onto the ring step. Conners goes for a suicide dive but Banks with a European uppercut. The referee checks on all three men. Banks sends Conners back into the ring and Banks hits Slice of Heaven and then he hits the Kiwi Crusher on Conners but Ligero with a splash to Banks and C4L on Banks. Conners with a running boot to Ligero. Conners with Don’t Look Down to Ligero but Banks with a double stomp from the turnbuckles to break up the cover.

Banks with chops to Ligero and Ligero counters Slice of Heaven with a power bomb. Ligero with a rollup on Conners. Ligero is sent to the apron by Conners and Conners drops Ligero on the top rope. Banks with a clothesline and Conners sends Banks into Ligero and hits Don’t Look Down for the three count.

Winner: Joseph Conners

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kassius Ohno says he has had time to think about his match with Tyler Bate. He is not one to whine or complain, but he knows what happened. Tyler Bate got under his skin and made him lose sight of why he came to NXT UK in the first place. He came to show the authentic style of British wrestling. Wrestling takes a back seat to the Wrestling Genius. You will not see any rolling elbows or cyclone kicks, but you will see cravates and the Kassius Clutch. Kassius says he is the greatest British wrestler alive.

Johnny Saint and Sid Scala are in the ring with a table for serious negotiations.

Sid brings out Joe Coffey to represent Gallus. Representing Imperium will be WWE UK Champion WALTER.

Joe says he is not sitting down. We are going to be getting down to business. You are the Ring General of Imperium but I am the top guy in Gallus.
WALTER tells Joe to stop talking so much and he wants the terms.

Joe asks WALTER if he is comfortable.

At Takeover Blackpool you showed up and got in his ring and you hit him across the jaw and left a mark on his face. Joe says he wants THAT. He wants the WWE UK championship.

WALTER tells Joe that is no surprise. He does not step back from any challenge. That is what this sport is about. You are not getting anything for free. What am I getting in return.

Joe asks WALTER what does he want.

WALTER says he wants Wolfgang and your brother to defend their NXT UK Tag Title.
Joe says he is not done. He says he knows his family better than anyone. They will turn your guys upside down.

WALTER says he wasn’t done. He wants Joe to make Ilja Dragunov step up to Alexander Wolfe in a No Disqualification Match.

Joe says Ilja does not run with him. He is not Gallus.

WALTER says no Ilja, no deal.

Ilja Dragunov’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Ilja tells Joe to MAKE . . . THE . . . agreement.

Joe says it appears we have a deal.

Sid says it is official. Next week, Gallus defends the tag titles against Imperium. At a future date, Ilja Dragunov faces Alexander Wolfe in a No Disqualification Match. In the main event of NXT UK Takeover, WALTER defends the WWE UK title against Joe Coffey.

Johnny and Sid leave the ring and it leaves WALTER, Joe, and the table in the ring. Joe leaves the ring, but Ilja stays at ringside. Joe and Ilja acknowledge each other and Joe leaves.

WALTER tells Ilja to turn around. He says you made a really bad decision. Maybe the worst . . .

Alexander Wolfe comes from under the ring and he grabs Ilja. Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner join in the attack. Barthel sends Ilja into the ring steps and Aichner with a running knee against the steps. WALTER with a knee to Ilja and then Wolfe and Aichner with a power bomb of Dragunov through the table.

We go to credits.
