MAURO RANALLO UPDATE, COREY GRAVES APOLOGIZES

By Mike Johnson on 2019-11-27 07:38:00

POSTWrestling.com reported overnight that Mauro Ranallo will not be calling tonight's episode of WWE NXT.  PWInsider.com has independently confirmed that report.  WWE was told yesterday that Ranallo would not be traveling to Orlando.

Corey Graves, who sparked Ranallo pulling off Survivor Series and NXT with a tweet about his work during the WWE NXT Takeover: Wargames broadcast, apologized for the tweet on the latest edition of the WWE After the Bell podcast.

Paul Jordan wrote the following recap:

"Corey opens the show by addressing the tweet this past Saturday directed towards Mauro Ranallo during Takeover: Wargames. Corey says he thought it was something that could stir up controversy and give him something to talk about on television or on the podcast. He states that it may not have been the most professional way to go about it, but it was never meant to offend, disrespect, or disparage anybody. That was never his intention. If someone took it as such, he apologizes. Graves goes on to say he didn't mean to cause anyone any undue stress, especially a coworker. He then apologizes again."
