RANDY SAVAGE APPEARS ON SOUTH PARK, SORT OF

This week's episode of Comedy Central's South Park skewered transgender athletes, using a character obviously based on late WWE Hall of Famer Randy "Macho Man" Savage as the crux of the story.

In the episode, Heather Swanson, a character who looks and sounds like Savage, competes in a Strongwoman competition as a transgender athlete, noting that she started identifying as female "two weeks ago" in order to be able to compete.   The character becomes the foil for South Park's P.C. Principal character as it is revealed Swanson has a history with Principal's wife, Strong Woman.  To explain more would spoil the plot of the episode and all the twisted satire that South Park is known for.

NEW YORK, November 11, 2019 – The Annual Strong Woman Competition pushes everyone to their limits in the all-new episodes titled, “Board Girls” airing on Wednesday, November 13 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

In the season opener, an even stronger woman causes big problems for PC Principal. Cartman, Stan, and the rest of the boys meet their match when some of the girls join their board gamers club.

All-new episodes from this season will be available to stream in HD exclusively on South Park Studios and Hulu the day after they premiere. Fans will continue to have next-day access to new episodes, as well as the entire South Park library, across all internet-connected devices with a Hulu subscription. New episodes and a selection of curated episodes will be available to stream on SouthPark.cc.com, cc.com, and the Comedy Central App.

Comedy Central’s “South Park” launched on August 13, 1997. The series airs Wednesday nights at 10:00 p.m. and repeats later that night at Midnight (all times ET/PT).
