The 11/23 episode of Impact Wrestling will basically be Impact’s version of WWE’s Southpaw Wrestling, a “throwback pro rassling concept” episode.
Jimmy Jacobs, Tommy Dreamer, former WWE Creative Team member R.D. Evans, Petey Williams, D’Lo Brown, Chris Gail Kim and Don Callis all work as producers for Impact currently.
The NYC material taped last week will begin to air on 12/3.
Ed Nordholm was in attendance at last week’s AXS TV-Combates America press conference, which would have been the first time he saw Alberto el Patron since the New Orleans no-show which led to Impact dropping Patron.
Impact Wrestling will team with Sami Callihan’s Pro Wrestling Revolver to stream an Impact+ event “No Surrender” on 12/7.
The next Twitch special is titled “Motown Showdown” and will stream live from Belleville, Michigan.
