AEW Producer Jerry Lynn announced today he would be undergoing surgery for a bulging disc in his back on 11/29:
Went over the MRI with the doctor today. Getting surgery for a bulging disc on Nov 29th. Good news is 3 to 4 week recovery!

Lynn disclosed on 11/7 that he would be missing Starrcast and AEW Full Gear after experiencing debilitating pain in his back.
Lynn, a former ROH and ECW World Champion, has undergone several surgeries since retiring in 2013.
