One of WWE’s flaws has been to bring in part timers/old guys who top the card/win the title/squash the regulars. Now that that pond is drained, it looks like they’re doing the same but with MMA/boxing. Lesnar/Rousey/Velasquez/Fury - these guys come in and are made to look super strong. I know Vince doesn’t look at MMA/boxing as competition but others do and surely this just tells viewers that there are tougher guys/gals outside of wrestling, which after, is supposed to be a ‘fight’. Your thoughts?

I don’t see it that way at all.  I think the vast majority of people that watch wrestling know what they are viewing.  They don’t get stupid when a UFC person comes in.  But I do agree about Vince being derelict in committing to making stars.  You are right on the money there.

Quick one came to mind: did you guys consciously decide to not post immediate title changes to avoid spoilers? Just watched RAW from tonight a little late on DVR, and usually check the site when watching and saw nothing of the tag title change. Was this on purpose to avoid spoiling as a new rule, deemed not worthy enough, or simply “forgotten”? Thanks as always!

No, Mike was away and I was about to do it when I got a phone call.  Since it’s covered in Richard’s great reports, I don’t worry about it all that much.

Also, second quick question. Why hype, and put so much “stock” in the draft, and have so little picks and leave so many undrafted. I know we can pick apart so many things about the draft, and WWE creative as a whole recently... but it seems like they could have had a quicker, more efficient way of getting more picks in, in an even more draft-like concept than they ended up with. Seriously, Titus O’Niel and others got drafted... but say, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose didn’t, as just one example. Can you make any sense of this for me?

Nope, I can’t.  The draft was really underwhelming to me as well.

Do you feel the ball is going to be dropped with Bray Wyatt yet again? Making the fiend out to be indestructible can only go so far before it has to be changed up and have him start losing which completely kills his momentum much like the original Bray version. And now, with him going to smackdown, what is there really for him to do there? It's not like Vince is going to put him up against Brock. Your thoughts.

Right now, the ball has not been dropped.  Down the road?  If Vince commits and makes Bray a real monster, it would be great.  But if he doesn’t?  Well, it will be just another missed creative opportunity.

With Bray Wyatt on Smackdown and Seth Rollins on Raw why are they having a title match at Crown Jewel? Doesn’t this diminish the brand exclusive part of the draft?

I will give them this one since the draft just happened and they have an issue that isn’t done yet.  But if they keep doing it, like they did with the Wild Card BS after the last draft?  Well that will absolutely make the draft a joke.
