Why would NWA use someone like Jim Cornette, who is obviously a trigger for a segment of fans that hate him, on their TV show?
They are using Jim Cornette because for the product they are trying to present, there is no one better in the world than him at conveying what they want in that role. He has his detractors (and he has no problem having them) but anyone who doesn't see the level of talent and knowledge that Jim Cornette can bring to a project is delusional in my opinion. He certainly upsets a lot of people, but if you are going to do an old school program, there's no one alive who knows the psychology of such a project better than Jim Cornette.
Why have we not seen Alicia Atout on AEW?
I don't believe she was ever signed beyond agreeing to appear on the first PPV.
Where is Joey Styles?
He's living in Connecticut and working outside of professional wrestling with zero interest, at this point, in returning.
I saw you wrote about a lot of wrestlers who were backstage at AEW. Does this happen a lot at TV tapings? Are they invited? Are they trying to get a job?
It's a mixture of everything. They might be invited or they may have asked if they can come visit. In some cases, they bring their gear and are there in case there is a role for them. Like any other job, a lot of pro wrestling is networking and being in the right place at the right time. You can't win at poker if you aren't at the table.
If you could suggest anyone to go into the WWE Hall of Fame, who would it be?
