EARLY NUMBERS INDICATE ALMOST ONE MILLION VIEWER DROP FOR DRAFT EDITION OF FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN

By Mike Johnson on 2019-10-12 12:30:00

The early overnight audience numbers for last night's Draft edition of Friday Night Smackdown on FOX indicate the episode draw 2,895,500 overnight viewers, down from last week's premiere which officially brought in 3,888,000.   So, if the numbers hold up, WWE lost 993,000 viewers from the week before, which obviously had far more hype and The Rock kicking off the episode.

Hour one brought in 2,925,000 viewers with hour two dropping to 2,872,000 viewers.

The good news is that the Male 18-49 demographic shares were the best of the night on network TV, bringing in an 8 share for the first hour and dropping to a 7 share for hour two.  Nothing came remotely close to Smackdown in that regard.

The official, final numbers will be out after the weekend.
