WWE NXT UK REPORT: NIVEN VERSUS GABBERT, STARZ DOES NOT FACE DEBUTING TALENT, TAG TITLE MATCH NEXT WEEK

We are in Brentwood, England and your announcers are Tom Phillips and Nigel McGuinness.

Tom mentions that Gallus will face Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster next week for the tag titles.

Match Number One: Wild Boar and Primate versus Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley

Boar and Howley start things off and Boar with a wrist lock. Howley with a side head lock and Boar trips Howley and follows with a clothesline. Boar with a running shoulder into the corner followed by a back senton to Howley’s back. Primate tags in and hits a springboard double sledge. Primate with a waist lock take down followed by a slam. Boar tags in and Primate sends Boar onto Howley with a back senton.

Boar is distracted by an illegal tag by Stoker and Howley with a drop kick and Stoker tags in and punches Boar while the referee deals with Primate. Boar is sent into the turnbuckles and Howley tags back in. Howley with a knee and punches to Boar. Stoker tags in and they Irish whip Boar into the corner. Stoker chokes Boar in the corner and connects with clotheslines. Howley tags in and Stoker sends Boar into the corner and Howley with a splash. Howley punches Primate on the apron but Primate growls at Howley. Boar with a German suplex and Stoker tags in. Boar trips Stoker and Primate tags in and connects with clotheslines and an exploder. Primate with a clothesline into the corner and then he gives Howley a back body drop. Primate with a spear on Stoker and Boar tags in. They go up top and hit a double diving head butt for the three count.

Winners: Primate and Wild Boar

After the match, Imperium members Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel make their way to the stage.

Barthel says all he sees are animals defecating on the mat that they call sacred. Boar and Primate attack Barthel and Aichner and they fight on the ramp. Alexander Wolfe comes out and he sends Boar into the ring steps while Wolfe hits a bicycle kick on Primate. Aichner and Barthel send Primate into Boar against the steps.

We see Jazzy Gabbert getting ready for her match against Piper Niven while Jinny watches.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a video for the return of Ilja Dragunov next week.

Match Number Two: Jack Starz versus Jordan Devlin

They lock up and Devlin with a leg sweep and a wrist lock. Starz with a cartwheel and back drop to escape. Starz presses Devlin over his head and slams Devlin. Devlin sends Starz shoulder first into the ring post. Devlin with a forearm. Starz with another press slam on Devlin. Devlin with kicks in the corner as the referee warns Devlin.

Devlin with a boot to the back of the head. Devlin with a shoulder breaker to Starz and then he stands on Starz’ neck. Starz with punches but Devlin with a uranage and standing monsault for a near fall. Devlin with a back breaker on the shoulder and he chokes Starz in the ropes. Devlin with a top wrist lock. Starz with punches but Devlin with a forearm to the back. Devlin kicks Starz in the head. Starz with European uppercuts followed by a drop kick.

Starz with a running uppercut into the corner. Devlin with a slingshot cutter but Devlin pulls Starz up. Devlin with Kawada kicks followed by Devil Inside for the three count.

Winner: Jordan Devlin

After the match, Devlin gets on the mic and he wonders how many people on the roster he has to chew up and spit out before he shows that he is the biggest star on the roster?

Dave Mastiff’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring since he is in the next match.

Devlin leaves the ring before there can be any sort of confrontation.

Dave suggests that he have a match against ‘the greatest superstar in the company’ in addtion to his regularly scheduled match.

Match Number Three: Dave Mastiff versus Kenny Williams

Williams rolls away from locking up with Mastiff. Williams is backed into the corner and Mastiff wants Williams to lock up with him. They lock up and Mastiff biels Williams across the ring. Williams with a wrist lock and he tries to Irish whip Mastiff but that does not work. Williams goes to the turnbuckles on an Irish whip and leaps over Matiff. Mastiff catches Williams on a cross body and Williams with a crucifix for a near fall. Williams with a springboard back elbow but Mastiff stays on his feet.

Mastiff back drops Williams over the top rope to the floor and Williams favors his ankle as he gets back into the ring. Williams with a forearm and he tries for a springboard move but his ankle gives out. Williams is asked if he wants to continue by the referee and Williams is not going to quit. Williams with a side head lock and Williams goes down as he is sent to the ropes. Mastiff with a shoulder tackle.

Mastiff with a forearm to the back followed by a snap mare and an elbow to the shoulder. Mastiff with a cobra clutch. Williams gets back to his feet and Williams is sent into the corner and Mastiff with a back body drop. Mastiff misses a back senton when Williams moves. Williams with a kick from the apron and then he hits a springboard back elbow. Williams with slingblade for a near fall. Williams goes for a bulldog out of a wheelbarrow but Mastiff sends Williams into the corner and Mastiff with a cannonball for the three count.

Winner: Dave Mastiff

After the match, Mastiff offers his hand and Williams shakes it.

Xia Brookside is interrupted in the back by Nina Samuels. Nina mocks Xia and her ‘loyal followers’. Xia challenges Nina to a match and Nina laughs it off as she leaves.

We go to commercial.

We are back and NXT UK Tag Team Champions Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster make their way to the ring.

Mark talks about the energy in the building and says it is the same energy that helped them win the NXT UK Tag Team Championships. Mark says if it wasn’t for each and every one of you behind them, this would not be possible. They thank everyone. Flash says when they won the NXT UK Tag Team Championships, they said they want to take on the world. They want to make sure the division is the best. They are looking to defend the title any time and against anyone.

Mark Coffey and Wolfgang appear at the announce table as their music plays.

Mark says they would be impressed with you if they weren’t so embarassed at the two of them. You are out here thanking people? Stop trying to suck up to everyone before you have to face them next week and they take the tag team championships. Mark says the only reason they are not coming down there right now, they want to have something left in the ring to pound.

Flash says they talk a big game but they will kick both of their asses next week.

We go to Alicia Taylor and she is with Noam Dar. She asks him about his victory. Noam says Trent couldn’t get the job done and he wants to put it behind them.

Trent Seven shows up and he is held back by some referees.

Sid Scala shows up and Noam with a sucker punch. Trent has to be held back again.

Sid stops them and he says they will settle this in two weeks.

We take a look at what happened last week when Jinny interrupted Piper Niven’s interview that led to tonight’s match between Piper and Jazzy Gabbert.

We see Piper in the back getting ready for her match as we go to commercial.

We are back and Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews are in the back and they are asked about the challenge by Gallus. The former champions Zack Gibson and James Drake interrupt and say regardless of what happens next week, the titles are coming back home. They wish Mark and Flash luck.

Match Number Four: Piper Niven versus Jazzy Gabbert (with Jinny)

They lock up and they go back and forth as they try to gain the early advantage. They each pull the hair and release. Niven with a shoulder tackle but Gabbert stays on her feet. The same result happens the second time but Gabbert is sent to the apron on the third attempt. Jinny has some strategy to discuss with Gabbert before she returns to the ring.

Jinny gets on the apron and Gabbert re-enters the ring behind Niven and applies a waist lock. Gabbert with a forearm to the back and she sends Niven into the turnbuckles and connects with punches and shoulders to the lower back. Niven with a back elbow and a second one. Gabbert with a kick and slam to Niven. Gabbert gets a near fall. Gabbert with punches to Niven. Gabbert stands on Niven’s back and Gabbert with a surfboard. Gabbert with knees to the back.

Gabbert with forearms to the back and then to the head. Niven blocks an Irish whip and Niven with head butts and a slam. Niven with a cross body and Jinny gets on the apron again. Niven brings Jinny into the ring and she has some words for Jinny. Jinny misses a punch and Niven with a head butt. Rhea Ripley comes out and kicks Gabbert in the head and Niven with a back senton for the three count.

Winner: Piper Niven

After the match, Ripley stares at Gabbert who is down in the ring. Ripley then looks at Niven and smiles as she goes to the back and Niven is not sure what to make of this.
