AEW DARK DEBUTS TONIGHT, COULD MLB CAUSE DYNAMITE DELAY TOMORROW AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2019-10-08 09:58:00

AEW Dark will debut tonight on YouTube, featuring matches that took place during last week's Washington, DC TV taping.  The show will air at 7 PM EST, hosted by Tony Schivaone.

Several readers sent word that AEW could conceivably be postponed tomorrow from its live airing on TNT.    Each National League Playoff series are slated to go to Game 5 tomorrow.  Ken McAndrew noted that yesterday, the early game went past the late game start, so they moved the late game to TNT until TBS cleared.  Should that repeat itself, it's possible Dynamite's start time could be pushed back with the episode airing late.

Tomorrow's episode of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite will feature Jimmy Havoc vs. Darby Allin, with the winner going on to challenge AEW Champion Chris Jericho the following week on Dynamite in Philadelphia, AEW Champion Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs. Dustin Rhodes & Adam "Hangman" Page, The Young Bucks vs. Private Party as part of the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament and Jon Moxley vs. Shawn Spears.

When asked why Havoc and Allin were being given a title oppportunity given that others have had better win/loss records on Twitter, Cody responded that the quality of their wins were being taken into consideration.

AEW backer Shahid Khan was listed by Forbes as the 61st richest man in America on their most recent list, dated 10/02.  Khan was listed as worth $7.8 billion.  Vince McMahon also made the list, listed as worth $2.9 billion and ranked at #296.  Thanks to Erik!

AEW in Garland, Texas tickets will go on sale this Friday.

AEW released the following video highlights of their debut episode:
