As of the 10/4 FOX debut episode, WWE Smackdown Live will undergo an official name change, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
The new title for the series will be "WWE Friday Night Smackdown."
That is how the series will be officially referred to in all marketing and promotion as well as within WWE commentary.
