WEEK 27 OF THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARS GOES TO AEW AS BOTH SHOWS SEE LARGE DROPS, WHAT I THINK THEY NEED TO DO TO FIX THAT

By Dave Scherer on 2020-04-02 16:25:00

AEW won the evening last night, but both shows saw big drops from the previous weeks.  In my opinion, WWE and AEW need to add a crowd noise track to the shows (at least for as long as they are able to do the shows).  Wrestling just isn't the same with no noise during matches and I believe that has led to the audience drop over the last few weeks.

The 4/1 edition of AEW did 685,000 overnight viewers, down from last week's 819,000 overnight viewers.

The 4/1 edition of NXT did 590,000 overnight viewers, down last week's 669,000 overnight viewers.
