WWE NXT UK REPORT: BRITISH ROUNDS MATCH, WHAT IS NEXT FOR RHEA RIPLEY, AND MORE

We begin this week’s show with a look at Kassius Ohno’s match against Sid Scala when Jack Gallagher was not cleared to wrestle. Tonight we have a British Rounds Match. Johnny Saint and William Regal comment on Sid’s chances tonight. Sid says he is ready.

We are in Cardiff, Wales and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Tyson T-Bone versus Travis Banks

They lock up and Tyson misses a punch in the corner. Banks with punches to Tyson followed by kicks. Tyson sends Banks into the corner but Banks with a kick and running uppercut. Banks with a running forearm and a drop kick into the corner. Tyson with a punch to the ribs followed by an Irish whip and snake eyes. Tyson with a running cross body for a near fall. Tyson with an elbow to the head and a kick.

Tyson with more punches and a kick to the head. Tyson with a slam and he gets a near fall. Tyson uses Travis’ own arm for a chin lock. Tyson with a punch to the ribs but Banks with kicks to the ribs. Tyson blocks a kick and punches Banks and hits a slingshot suplex. Banks avoids a splash into the corner and Banks sends Tyson to the mat and hits a flying knee. Tyson is sent to the floor.

Travis with a suicide dive and they return to the ring. Banks with a double stomp off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Tyson with a forearm to the back followed by a half nelson suplex for a near fall. Tyson with a front face lock and forearms to the back. Banks counters a suplex into an inside cradle for the three count.

Winner: Travis Banks

We go to Radzi and he says that we have no information about Toni Storm. Mark Coffey and Wolfgang show up and they don’t care where Toni is. Mark says they were not beaten at Takeover. Gallus are still the number one contenders for the Tag Titles and they are getting what they deserve because this is their kingdom.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Rhea Ripley versus Debbie Keitel

They lock up and Rhea with a clean break and she tells Debbie to let’s go. Keitel with a waist lock and Rhea tosses Keitel away. Debbie goes for the leg but Ripley with a gutwrench and she tosses Debbie away. Debbie with a slap or two. Rhea stops a third one and Rhea with a kick. Ripley with Riptide for the three count.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

After the match, Rhea takes the mic and she says she thinks it is about time that she gets her NXT UK Women’s Championship back. There is nobody that can break her mentally. There is nobody who can compete with her physically. There is no woman . . .

Jinny’s music interrupts and she comes out with Jazzy Gabbert.

Jinny tells Rhea the greasy hair and rusty chains are so 1990s. Your achievements are from the past and that is where you belong, in the past. Jinny says she is the future. She will be the next NXT UK Women’s Champion. That is the future. In the present, she has an even bigger problem for you to deal with.

Jazzy Gabbert gets on the apron and Rhea gets in her face. Jazzy grabs her by the throat and Rhea kicks her away. Rhea wants Jazzy to get into the ring but Jinny holds Jazzy back.

We take a look at Trent Seven’s arrival at the building. He is greeted by Noam Dar and he announces that Trent Seven is a dafty, using a megaphone. Trent gets in Noam’s face and wonders who waits in a carpark with a megaphone.

Trent and Noam have to be separated.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see Sid Scala with Johnny Saint in the back.

Match Number Three: Joseph Conners versus Kenny Williams

They lock up and Conners with a knee to the midsection followed by kicks and he sends Williams into the turnbuckles. Conners with an elbow and short arm clothesline for a near fall. Wiliams with chops and punches to Conners. Williams with a rollup for a near fall. Williams with a flying back elbow. Williams bulldogs Conners into the turnbuckles but when Williams goes for a springboard move, Conners hits the ropes to stop Williams. Conners with a gourdbuster and a rolling neck snap for a near fall.

Conners with a head butt to the midsection. Conners punches Williams in the midsection and a forearm to the back. Williams with punches but Conners with a slam and he gets a near fall. Conners with a knee to the back and he stretches Williams with a surfboard. Conners with an abdominal stretch. Williams with a jaw breaker.

Williams with a rebound slingblade for a near fall. Williams with forearms and chops to Conners followed by a springboard back elbow. Williams is sent ot the apron by Conners. Williams with an enzuigiri. Williams goes for a springboard move but Williams sees Conners go to the ropes so Williams stays on the apron. Williams with a kick and a springboard back elbow.

Williams with a rolling gourdbuster but Conners has his hand on the ropes to stop the count. Conners sends the ropes into Williams’ midsection and Conners hits Don’t Look Down for the three count.

Winner: Joseph Conners

We take a look at Ilja Dragunov and his match against Cesaro at Takeover UK Cardiff. Cesaro says Dragunov was not the challenger he was expecting, but he was the challenger who stood up and brought it 100%. Cesaro says you saw that match and you saw what Dragunov did. He says it is fun to step in the ring with someone like him. Cesaro says to keep watching Dragunov, he knows he will.

We get comments from Oliver Carter and he says he will be back next week.

Kay Lee Ray is asked about Tegan Nox’s challenge. Kay Lee says she is the new NXT UK Women’s Champion. She is 100% while Tegan Nox is a girl with two broken knees. She will take her on at any time.

We are told that Kay Lee Ray will face Tegan Nox in two weeks.

Next week, Trent Seven will face Noam Dar.

This match will have six three minute rounds. The winner must get two pinfalls or submissions or a knock out to win the match.

Match Number Four: Kassisu Ohno versus Sid Scala in a British Rounds Match

Round One:

Ohno offers his hand and Sid shakes it before the match starts.

They lock up and Ohno with a wrist lock and take down into an arm bar. Sid with a reversal on the wrist lock into a hammer lock. Ohno with a side head lock and hip lock take down. Sid escapes the head lock and applies a hammer lock. Ohno with a half nelson.

Ohno with a cravate and snap mare into a reverse chin lock. Sid escapes and applies a side head lock but they get to the ropes. They go for a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Ohno with a single leg take down and he goes for the ankle and twists it. Sid with an escape and he takes Ohno down with a single leg take down as the round ends.

Round Two:

They lock up and Scala with a cravate and Ohno tries to roll through and escape but Scala holds on to the cravate. Ohno powers out of the hold and applies a full nelson and a wrist lock but Scala with a cartwheel to escape. Scala with a sunset flip but he cannot get a near fall on Ohno.

Ohno and Scala with a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Ohno stands on one of Scala’s hand while working on the other wrist. Ohno with a surfboard on Scala. Ohno puts his boot in Scala’s back. Ohno with an Irish whip and Scala avoids Ohno and Scala with a rollup for a near fall. Scala with an Irish whip and Scala with another near fall.

After the round ends, Ohno goes after Scala but the referee separates them.

Round Three:

Ohno with a side head lock and palm strikes to the top of the head. Ohno smothers Scala and punches Sid in the throat. Scala has trouble breathing and Scala punches Ohno. Scala with a European uppercut and kicks. Sid with an arm bar. Ohno with a chop and Scala goes down. Scala with drop kicks but Ohno stays on his feet. Ohno with a rolling elbow for a three count.

Round Four:

Ohno with chops and a slam. The referee checks to see if Scala can get up. Ohno with a cravate and he taunts Scala. Ohno with a snap mare and knee drop. Ohono with a front face lock but Scala with punches to get out of the hold.

Scala with a head butt and Ohno with a forearm and Scala goes down. Ohno with a cravate and he takes Sid to the mat. Scala escapes but Ohno with a head butt. Ohno with a chop as the round ends.

Round Five:

Ohno asks Sid if he is going to fight and Sid with a punch but Ohno with a side head lock and then he connects with a forearm to the body and then he applies an abdominal stretch. Ohno with a chin lock using Scala’s arm for extra pressure. Ohno with a shoulder block and he returns to the half straitjacket choke.

Sid with a head butt to the midsection followed by knees to the head. Scala with forearms but Ohno with a head butt and he sends Scala to the apron. Ohno is warned by the referee to get back into the ring. Sid goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Ohno with a snap mare and he misses a knee drop. Ohno with a snap mare but he misses an elbow drop. Ohno with another snap mare and he goes for a back senton but Sid gets his knees up. Scala with clotheslines but he cannot knock Ohno down as the round ends.

Round Six:

Scala with a forearm to the back followed by punches. Scala with more forearms to the back and punches as he needs to at least tie the match. Ohno with a Kamikaze Plunge for a near fall. Ohno with a forearm to the back. Ohno with a rear chin lock but Sid powers out of the hold. Ohno with a forerm to the back of the head. The referee checks on Scala.

Ohno gets Scala on his shoulders and Scala with a victory roll for a near fall. Sid goes for a crucifix driver but he cannot hit it. Scala with a crucifix for a near fall. Ohno with a boot to Scala. Ohno sets for the KO but Scala counters with a backslide but time runs out before the three count.

Winner: Kassius Ohno
