By Stuart Carapola on 2019-09-14 11:59:00

Welcome to the Impact Wrestling Report here on PWInsider.com!

We start off with our usual look back at last week's episode, then we're back off to Mexico for our opening match...

Tenille Dashwood vs Kiera Hogan

Feeling out process to start, and Kiera draws first blood with a snapmare and indy kick to Tenille's back.  She begs off to the corner, but Tenille gets a snapmare and baseball slide for 2.  Kiera bails out to the floor and leads Tenille on a chase, but Tenille grabs her on her way back into the ring and gives her a neckbreaker over the middle rope for 2.  Kiera rolls through a sunset flip and boots Tenille in the face, then snaps her down to the mat by the hair and covers for 2.  Kiera has the advantage now on Tenille, and tries to get her feet on the ropes on a cradle attempt, but her legs are too short to reach the ropes and she flops onto Tenille for 2.  Tenille gets her boot in Kiera's face on a corner charge and hits a butterfly suplex into the corner, then hits a corner crossbody for 2.  Tenille finally counters a victory roll attempt to a wheelbarrow suplex for 2, and the tide has turned.  Kiera hits a corner dropkick, misses a second one, and Tenille gets a tarantula in the ropes, then heads to the top and hits a crossbody followed by the Spotlight for the win.

Winner: Tenille Dashwood

Good debut for Tenille, and Kiera has improved a LOT since she first walked in the door here.

We go the oVe Cam, where Sami is complaining about Impact management screwing them.  He might have to wait for Bound For Glory for his title shot, but he's got plans in Mexico tonight.

Jimmy Jacobs is backstage with the North, and Josh Alexander thought winning the title was the best night of their career, but nothing could match the looks on everyone's faces when they got rid of LAX last week.  Page says their title was on the line too last week, and fairy tales aren't real, bullies exist, and they do whatever they want, so it's time for everyone to admit that they're their favorite tag team.  It feels amazing to be the best tag team in the world.

Josh and Don talk about stuff, then we head back to the ring for our next match...

Michael Elgin vs Dinestera

Elgin just powers Dinestera across the ring, and Dinestera tries a waistlock, but Elgin just shrugs free and again tosses Dinestera across the ring.  Dinestera manages to catch Elgin with a Frankensteiner, but then Elgin catches him with one arm and turns it into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.  Elgin misses a charge and goes through the ropes, and Dinestera hits an Asai moonsault, Elgin catches him, and powerbombs him onto the ring apron.  Elgin rips Dinestera's head off with a clothesline, goes for the Elgin bomb, but converts to the Emerald Frosion for the iwn.

Winner: Michael Elgin

Really impressive squash, and Elgin is obviously sending a message to Naomichi Marufuji by using his finish.  Elgin gets a mic after the match and says that was a message sent around the globe.  He's been in the ring with nearly everyone in Japan, except for one man, and since that man is coming to Bound For Glory, he'll see Marufuji there.

Taya Valkyrie is backstage complaining about Tenille Dashwood, but now she's the longest-reigning Knockouts Champion ever, and isn't that impressive?  We pan to the right and Rosemary is wondering how Taya keeps getting into her dungeon.  Taya wants to take Rosemary out for mimosas, and that causes Rosemary Rage.

TJ Perkins finds Fallah Bahh at catering and sits down with him.  He says he knows Bahh hit a rough patch lately, but never give up ever.  Bahh just talks like Bahh, but TJ says not to talk like that because they came from a Filipino background of warriors, and he's going to help Bahh find his voice.

The Impact Plus moment of hte week is LAX taking on oVe at Bound For Glory some time back.

Jim Mitchell is in Hell, and he implores Jessicka Havoc to be careful because Su Yung's power grows every day, and he's terrified that if she doesn't back off now, he won't be able to save her.

Moose congratulates Ken Shamrock for getting a dream match with him at Bound For Glory, and it's a dream match because he's in it.  Shamrock is relevant now, and he turned him into a trending topic on Twitter, but he doesn't believe he's still the World's Most Dangerous Man.  He hopes Shamrock to enjoy the moment, because at Bound For Glory, he steps into the ring with a dive star athlete and the best wrestler in the world, and the legend known as Moose.

Texano Jr vs Dr Wagner Jr

Wagner hacks something in Spanish into the mic, but Texano goes after him, knocks him to the floor, and rips his mask off.  Apparently Wagner lost his mask in a match recently but still wears it anyway, and also lost his hair at some point recently as well.  So he's bald and maskless.  Texano tries to use the bullrope, but the ref won't let him, so Wagnerdragon screw legwhips him a couple of times, and hits a Tower of London for 2.  Texano misses a corner charge and bumps to the floor, and Wagner comes off the apron with a somersault dive.  Texano catches Wagner with a punt to the chest as he comes back into the ring and then hits a hanging DDT for 2.  Texano goes to the top and Wagner hits a superplex for 2, then hits a hammerlock lariat and then finishes him with the Michinoku driver.

Winner: Dr Wagner Jr

Ace Austin finds Alisha Edwards backstage and says Eddie has been sending him death threats, and they both know he's going to lose control and try to injure him.  Ace wants Alisha to stay in the back, because even if Eddie doesn't want to hurt her, sometimes he loses control.

We go to the LAX clubhouse for what will likely be the last time.  Santana says they tried, and Ortiz can't believe it ended like that.  Willie Mack and Rich Swann come in and apparently don't realize they lost.  Mack says everyone doubted them when they got here, but they turned it around and proved they're the best.  Swann says this is the time to do this for the boys and Impact Wrestling and the fans.  They want to face LAX in their last match and give them a chance to go out on top.  Konnan's going to talk to Impact Management and get this match made.

Ace Austin vs Eddie Edwards

Ace goes after Eddie at the bell, but Eddie turns it around, pounds the heck out of Ace, dumps him to the floor, and takes him out with a dive.  Eddie picks Ace up atomic drop style and rams his ding ding into the post, but then Ace throws his jacket in Eddie's face and superkicks him for 2.  Austin continues dishing out punishment to Eddie until Eddie catches him with a clothesline and starts hammering him with chops.  Eddie with a blue thunder driver for 2, but then Ausitn hits Eddie with his cane and follows that with a Tidal Krush for 2 as we go to commercial.

We're back as Austin is dishing out kicks to Eddie before hitting a bulldog and a double stomp to the back of Eddie's head.  Eddie pops Ace into the air into a flapjack and hits a Tiger Driver for 2.  Eddie sets up for the Boston Knee Party, Ace rolls to the floor to get away from it, and Eddie takes Ace out with a dive through the ropes.  Ace crawls under the ring, Eddie drags him back out, then picks up the chair Ace had ahold of under the ring.  Ace bicycle kicks Eddie and goes for a handstand something on the apron, and Eddie just PITCHES the chair at the back of Ace's head.

Winner: Ace Austin by DQ

Ace is clutching his arm and screaming, but Eddie rolls him into the ring and lays him out with a Boston Knee Party.  Eddie gets on top of Austin and repeatedly punches him until the ref tries to intervene.  Eddie backs him off, so another referee and some officials come out, and Eddie chases them off too.  Ace is on the floor and clutching his arm while Eddie seethes at him.  Eddie gets a chair and throws it at one of the officials on his way out of the arena.

We see a video of Jimmy Jacobs interviewing Brian Cage and Melissa Santos, who are getting married live on the air in two weeks.  Cage says he's going to be a fighting champion, and that's what he'll be at Bound For Glory.

We see video packages of Johnny Swinger, then we go to Alisha checking on Austin getting loaded into the ambulance and screams at Eddie for beating him up and then calls him a cheating bastard.  There's an uncomfortable moment of silence as they stare at each other before Alisha gets in the ambulance and closes the doors.

Big Mami & Nino Hamburguesa vs Desi Hit Squad

The Deaners are making the Desis wear overalls for this match, which starts oout as straight comedy (which I stink at recapping, and won't), then they do lucha dives (which I hate recapping, so I won't).  Miscommunication leads to Nino splashing Raj off the top for the win.

Winners: Big Mami & Nino Hamburguesa

Pretty much just played up for laughs.  The laughs end when my favorite f'n wrestler ever, Mahabali Shera makes his long-dreaded return, wiping the mat up with the Deaners.  Gama comes out and Shera, as well as the Desis, bow to Gama.

And with that, it's main event time!

Street Fight: Sami Callihan & Jake Crist vs Tommy Dreamer & Tessa Blanchard

They start brawling right at the start, with all four competitors fighting up to the top of the entry ramp.  Tommy and Tessa hit stereo clotheslines, then the fight comes down to ringside where Sami slams Dreamer on the ramp, then Jake takes Tessa onto the apron and gets swapped on his face, tumbles to the floor, and takes a diving headscissors from Tessa.  Sami and Tessa stare each other down, Tessa charges, and Sami punches her square in the face.  He goes for a powerbomb on the floor, she gets free, swears at Sami, and hits a dive off the apron as we go to commercial.

We're back, and everyone is still fighting at ringside.  Tessa hits Jake with a tornado DDT back in the ring, then takes him out with a pair of dives when he rolls to the floor.  Sami nails Tessa, then tries to take a staplegun to Tommy's head.  Tommy blocks, gets ahold of the Staplegun, Sami goes for a sunset flip, and Tommy stapleguns his chest, then his perineum, then he and Tessa double team Jake.  Both oVe members are hung in the Tree of Woe and given baseball slides, then stereo DDTs get 2 on Sami and Jake.  Double big boot from oVe puts Tessa down, then Sami holds Tessa for a superkick before hitting an elevated lungblower for 2.  Tessa hits Magnum on Jake, but Sami drills her in the gut with his bat.  Sami goes for a piledriver, Tommy bashes him in the back with his kendo stick and hits a DDT, then starts to fight off Dave Crist and Madman Fulton when they run in.  Sami hits a Cactus piledriver on Dreamer for the win.

Winners: Sami Callihan & Jake Crist

Great brawl!  The fight continues after the match as Tessa kicks Fulton in the ding ding, but then Sami nails Tessa and goes for a piledriver, but here comes Rhino!  Rhino gores Sami, Rob Van Dam runs in and takes out Jake Crist, and the fans chant for ECW as RVD hits the frogsplash to close the show.
