What’s the next belt that would look best on Brock?  The WWE Championship?  The Universal title(again)?  The IWGP Heavyweight title(again)? The UFC Heavyweight Title(again)? The Ring of Honor world title?  The AEW World Title?  All 6 titles?

Alligator, with a sterling silver belt buckle.

Which show will you be watching live/first, AEW or NXT, and why?

I will be watching NXT first, for a few reasons.  One, it's my favorite show right now and I don't want it spoiled for me by waiting to watch it.  And two, I am invested in the characters and stories.  That matters a lot to me.  AEW has to start that process and get me on board with their wrestlers.

Now that NXT is going to be on USA, do you think we will see NXT matches as part of WrestleMania?

Mike Johnson and I talked about this subject on the show this week.  We both agreed that now that NXT will be presented as a third (hopefully equal) brand, they have to have at least one match on WrestleMania.  The key will be how to do Takeover the day before, then have a match at the PPV.  There are a lot of ways to pull that off.

When it became official that NXT was moving to USA a lot of fans including myself were worried.  Worried the brand would become too similar to the main roster hence killing what we've come to know and love.  That talk thankfully has died down quite a bit with reassurances on this site and some from the talent themselves.  My question is about another potential issue.  With NXT going 2 hours they will likely need more talent to cover the extra hour.  Could you see an issue arising where Performance Center trainees are forced into action too soon thus hurting the product?  Especially for newer viewers?

I don't see that being an issue, for a few reasons.  For one, they will only have to do an extra 30 minutes or so each week.  That isn't a big deal.  They have a lot of talent at the PC that is ready to go.  Plus, they can bring in wrestlers from NXT UK.  I think they will be fine.

How has ROH attendance, views and ratings been doing post MSG with Matt Taven as the champion? I'll be honest, I haven't watched since that night in NYC.

Houses have been down but I don't really blame Taven.  New Japan peaked at the MSG show as well.  With all of the talent that left ROH to form AEW, it's understandable that they would be in a rebuilding phase.  I think it's just the circumstances that led to houses being down.
