FLAIR BRINGING THE WCW TITLE WITH HIM TO THE WWF, URBAN WRESTLING, TAMMY AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2019-08-25 10:00:00

I was reading about Ric Flair coming to the WWF in the early 1990s.  If he was WCW Champ when he left WCW, how could he bring the belt to the WWF, legally?

Flair claimed that since the belt he had was the infamous Big Gold belt that went back to the days of the NWA, it was legally his since WCW wasn't reimbursing the deposit that he put down when he became NWA Champion.  So, he used it in WWF, at least, until it was ruled that he could not use the title in court.

Any updates on Tammy Sytch?

She was slated to have a hearing on 8/22.  We have not confirmed the events of that hearing as of this writing.

Are the EVOLVE talents signed to WWE deals?

With the exception of Austin Theory, no.

Whatever happened to the Urban Wrestling Federation?

It ran several TV tapings and hasn't done anything since.  Steve Karel, who owns the promotion, recently signed a deal to release the content on DVD under the titled "Bloody Bullet" and "Street Boss."

Do you think WWE Network will add the World Class Parade of Champions?

Eventually, yes.  They will roll out everything in their library over time.

I've seen listings in results for a Little Mr. T.  Who was that?

The Haiti Kid, wearing a mohawk.
