Johnny Rage vs. Mike Jackson

Rage took the mic before the show saying that everyone should have ignored all the rejects from the nursing home and spent money on his table.  He demanded that someone come out and face him.

Mike Jackson hit the ring.  Rage tried to jump him but Jackson overcame that and backdropped him.  Rage rolled out of the ring and the former Alabama Junior Heavyweight Champion hit a tope that popped the house.  The crowd chanted for Jackson.

Back in the ring, Jackson controlled the action.  Rage went to the floor to stall but when he returned, Jackson kept taking him down to the delight of the crowd.   Rage regained control and slammed Jackson.  Jackson nailed a Scorpion Death Drop but Rage went to the floor.   Jackson continued to control the ring and even hit a stunner for a two count.  Rage nailed him and worked him over in the corner, slamming his head into the turnbuckles.

Rage sent him into the corner but missed a charge and nailed his shoulder on the ring post.  Jackson grabbed his arm, walked the ropes around all four sides of the ring, including doing a strut, then jumped off and nailed him.  Rage drilled him with an atomic drop.  He worked over Jackson and toyed with the crowd, but only scored a two count.  Rage choked Jackson on the mat and drilled him with several shoulderblocks in the corner.   Jackson fought back and nailed a neckbreaker for the pin in 12 minutes.

Your winner, Mike Jackson!

Jackson is still a hell of a worker at his age.  They did a perfect match for a crowd looking for nostalgia, just a simple heel vs. face formula that works.

Jackson did a promo noting he would be 70 years old in three months.  He said this week was a great week and he appreciates all the fans.  The crowd chanted for him.   He said he's been able to wrestle in some of the best places in the world but the best thing that ever happened to him was Jesus Christ saving his soul.  He thanked everyone again.  The crowd loved him.

Andy Anderson (with Kevin Sullivan) vs. ?

Sullivan cut a promo saying Anderson's original opponent backed off because he didn't want to go to the hospital, so he was issuing an open challenge to anyone in the back.   A guy named Bud Heavy came out and accepted the challenge.  Anderson beat him down.  Sullivan pulled out the golden spike and began spiking the heck out of Heavy, who began bleeding and rolled to the outside.   He demanded to know who was next.

Out came 72 year old Chic Donovan, the old Memphis and NWA talent.  Anderson knocked him for being old and dared him to get in the ring.  Sullivan said he'd bet his social security check against Donovan's.  Anderson worked over Donovan early but was kicked in the gut as he advanced in the corner.  They traded chops in the corner.  Donovan was kicked down and choked against the ropes.

Donovan was beaten by Sullivan as Anderson distracted the referee.  Donovan fought back and nailed several kicks in the corner.  He small packaged Anderson for a two count.  Sullivan went to nail Donovan with the spike but nailed Anderson.  Donovan rolled up Anderson for the pin but his shoulder was up.  Sullivan spiked Donovan in the groin.  OUCH!!! The referee called for a DQ.  They double teamed Donovan but a younger wrestler, SP Ghost, hit the ring and made the save.

CW Anderson vs. Caleb Konley

Big babyface reaction for Konley.  Anderson controlled him early but was nailed and hit with a back senton splash and a rana.  Anderson cut his momentum off, snapping Konley's arm.  Anderson worked over the arm, wrenching it.  Konley went for a sunset flip but Anderson grabbed his arm and snapped it into a Fujiwara armbar.  Konley fought to the ropes to force the break.

They battled to the floor, exchanging chops.  Anderson worked him over but was sent to the floor, where Konley nailed a nice dive into the aisle.  Konley came back with a double stomp for a two count.  Anderson caught Konley with a great throw suplex for a two count.  Anderson went for a suplex but Konley escaped.  Anderson drilled him with a great right for a two count.    They battled back with some nice action until Konley nailed a backhanded spinning fist for a two count.

Anderson nailed a great spinebuster for a two count.  He went for a superkick but it was avoided.  Konley nailed him and his a spinning moonsault off the ropes for the pin.

Your winner, Caleb Konley!

A really good back and forth match.  No idea why these two aren't being utilized somewhere.  Just great quality hands.

Konley brought a ten year old fan, who's birthday it was today, into the ring for the crowd to serenade him with "Happy Birthday."
