PWInsider.com is sorry to report the passing of Dango Nguyen, who wrestled in the 1990s and early 2000s in the Georgia area. Nguyen passed away over the weekend following a battle with cancer.
After this time in professional wrestling, Nguyen became a Sergeant in the Athens-Clarke County Fire Department in Georgia, where he worked for over 20 years. He then returned to the entertainment world, where he worked as an actor under stage name Dango Nu Yenon The Walking Dead (playing a soldier for The Governor's Woodbury community in several episodes) and did stunts for a number of film and TV projects, including the Ronda Rousey film Mile 22, NCIS: New Orleans and Macgyver.
