By Richard Trionfo on 2019-08-11 09:22:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com’s coverage of NXT Takeover Toronto from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Make sure to check out all of the coverage on the site including the Tip Sheet, audio previews, news, and more.

Your host for the Kickoff Show is Charly Caruso and she is joined by Pat McAfee and Sam Roberts.

Charly asks Sam and Pat what they are looking forward to and Sam talks about Undisputed Era and their chance to have all of the gold.  Pat says that while Undisputed Era can have all the gold, he could lose it all too.

They run through the card for tonight's show.

We take a look at the NXT Women's Championship Match between Mia Yim and Shayna Baszler with a video package.

Charly asks how will Shayna do without Marina and Jessamyn.  Sam says he was Mia wrestle ten years ago and Mia is in this spot because of her work to get here.  Sam says Mia is not better than Shayna.  Pat says Mia had to pave her own road to get here.  Pat says he thinks Shayna has met her match.

We go to footage from earlier today with Adam Cole.  Adam says he gets to put a stamp on this one more time.  He gets another chance to prove Johnny Gargano is a lesser Adam Cole.  Adam says he will continue to hold this title.  At the end of the night, Undisputed Era will stand on top of the mountain as the champions of the world.

Charly asks if the Undisputed Era will all have gold at the end of the night.  Sam says there is a chance it could happen.  Pat says Adam Cole said that the Undisputed Era will have the gold, but they can fall as much as they can rise.

Charly brings up the friendship between Io Shirai and Candice LeRae.  Sam says that Io snapped because Candice was not there for her.

We talk about the NXT North American Championship Match, but first a video package.

Sam says this match will steal the show.  Everyone involved has something to prove.  Dream can establish himself as the dominant champion.  Pete Dunne does not have an identity without a title.  Roderick needs to win for himself and for Undisputed Era.  Pat talks about how Dunne wants gold again and Strong has something to prove.  Dream will leave tonight as champion.  Sam agrees that Dream retains.

Charly mentions the two stipulation we know but she wonders what will the third fall stipulation be.  Johnny Gargano says there is a lot of history in this building.  DIY versus Revival in 2016.  He won his first NXT Title in this building.  Tonight, he will beat the hell out of Adam Cole.  Johnny says we won't need the third fall because Johnny will go to war and he will go to hell.  He will leave as the new NXT Champion.

We take a look at the NXT Men's Championship Match between Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole.

William Regal says that Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano are hellbent on destroying each other.  If this goes to a third fall, he wants to talk about it, but he will show it.

We see a steel cage with barbed wire on the top and weapons connected to the cage.
