Trish Stratus, in doing media this weekend in Toronto, has explicitly stated that she feels her match with Charlotte Flair will be the final match of her career.

Stratus had intimated that was likely earlier this week while appearing on SiriusXM's Busted Open Radio, but in doing media today, we are told she explained she did not see another scenario where she would have a better place to officially close the chapter in her wrestling career, given she would be in her hometown in such a high profile match.  Thus, Stratus feels this weekend would be it for her as a professional wrestler.

Stratus officially retired from professional wrestling in 2006 (also in Toronto) but since then has made 11 in-ring appearances, mostly tag matches.  Her singles bout with Charlotte Flair tomorrow at Summerslam will be the first real singles match she has done since 2006, beyond a Raw bout against Vickie Guerrero.

Obviously, we should point out there's always going to be an asterick there, since the right offer or angle could bring her back again, but Stratus has, to a person, made it clear she sees Summerslam as her final in-ring wrestling appearance.
