WWE announced this past May that Ruby Riott underwent successful surgery of a "bilateral injury" to her right shoulder and that she would undergo the same surgery for her left shoulder down the line. This was the surgery for her left shoulder.
Riott, 28, last wrestled for WWE at the 5/17 live event in Cardiff, Wales as part of a Fatal Four Way.
She is not expected to return to action until 2020.
