WHO AEW NEEDS TO ATTRACT, UNDERUSED TALENTS, RETIRING FINISHERS AND MORE

Do you ever feel like some wrestling finishers should be banned when they are already associated with a wrestler? I like Kevin Owens character which is very similar to Stone Cold. However, seeing him do the stunner just made me feel he's a stone cold rip off. I know I might be in the minority here.

Personally?  No.  I don't think that they should be copied when it's fresh but Austin has been retired for almost two decdes now.  I am OK with someone else doing it now.

I got a question about unutilized talents. I made a quick list of them. There are about 25 wrestlers that travel with the crew every week and are doing nothing. I don’t get it. Why WWE cannot give them a chance to shine. They can tape some episode of a new series at Full Sail with them and put new content on the Network. If not why they keep them and pay them?

Sometimes it's due to injury.  Sometimes it's just Vince loses interest.  That doesn't mean that they want to cut them loose though.  With the revenue WWE will be bringing in starting later this year, they can afford to keep a lot of talents (and keep them away from the competition).  With that said, we are seeing talents travel back to NXT.  Hopefully we see more of that.

Tony Khan has stated on more than a few occasions that he believes AEW can bring back the lapsed from when WCW went out of business. He has also stated that AEW will be sport based with great wrestling. Now for all WWE’s faults, they weekly have great matches, that isn’t a problem. They also have NXT which if they believed what Tony Khan does, they could tout around networks for a weekly sports based wrestling show.  It seems to me, that perhaps great wrestling isn’t what the lapsed fan misses, and is in fact great ‘sports entertainment’. When you think DX, you think the WCW invasion, the Nation impersonation. Austin, you think Austin vs McMahon, beer trucks to the ring. The Rock, you think entertainment. Is Tony Khan in your opinion correct in thinking that just good wrestling will bring lapsed fans back or is he underestimating what these fans actually enjoyed in the attitude era?

First off, if Khan is looking for the lapsed WCW fan, I think that is a mistake.  That fan is long gone.  WCW was faltering at the end.  And when it was king?  It was due to the Sports Entertainment aspect.  The nWo is what turned it around and when it ran its course, WCW floundered. I have been saying since Khan announced AEW that just putting on great matches isn't enough.  New Japan does it every week on AXS and they couldn't draw 5,000 fans in Dallas earlier this month.  ROH does it.  MLW does it.  NXT does it.  I have been saying on audio for months that in order for AEW to succeed they need to attract the casual wrestling fan.  The hardcore fan is not enough.  So I agree with you.  If it's "just wrestling" I think they are in for a rude awakening.  The fans that they are looking to add to make them a success want great angles and characters.

Ok, Reigns UT vs Shane and Drew in a no holds barred no DQ match.  Apparently though, your partner couldn't come into the ring unless you tag your partner...  BUT, apparently a third man not in the match can get involved in the match totally legally..  Without a tag I might add.  My question, so what happens if someone got in the ring without a tag?  I must say this isn't just a WWE thing, I remember NWA tag team cage matches where partners had to tag, and it annoyed me then.

I got nothing!

Currently, what VERSION of Matt Hardy are we looking at? I lost count at v.2!

I would go with v.HAPPY!
