Dustin Runnels has been cast in a wrestling-themed movie called Thunderclap. The plot of the movie according to the movie's Twitter account is "A shy 17-year-old befriends an aging professional wrestler, Van “Thunderclap” Tenner (played by Runnels), and together they heal wounds in and out of the ring.”
While John Cena joining the Fast & Furious 9 cast has received all sorts of attention this weeks, the release date for Cena’s forthcoming film Playing with Fire has been moved up to 11/8 as a result of Paramount pushed their Sonic the Hedgehog film back to 2020. The plot of the film features “A crew of rugged fighters meet their match when attempting to rescue three rambunctious kids.” Judy Greer, Brianna Hildebrand and John Leguizamo are also in the cast.
ena has also provided a voice for an upcoming Doctor Dolittle animated film that will be released next year.
Poster art has been released for Dave Bautista’s forthcoming comedy My Spy, which will be released later this year. The plot - "A hardened CIA operative find A himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year old girl, having been sent undercover to surveil her family."

The Rock’s next major film release will be the 8/2 Fast & Furious presents Hobbs & Shaw with Dwayne Johnson reprising his role as Hobbs while Roman Reigns will make his feature film debut as Hobbs’ brother. The most recent trailer for the film features Reigns and Rock together:
