MLW FUSION REPORT

We are in New York City and your announcers are Jim Cornette and Rich Bocchini.

We take a look at Sami Calliihan and Mance Warner talking about Salina de la Renta. Sami likes to do lawn work when thinking about Salina. Mance says he likes tearing up roads and he offers a beer to Sami but keeps it since it is the last one. Mance suggests they go to a liquor store together.

Match Number One: Hijo de LA Park and Ricky Martinez (with Salina de la Renta) versus Sami Callihan and Mance Warner

Callihan goes after Martinez while Warner goes after Hijo. Callihan and Martinez go to the floor and Callihan with punches. Hijo sends Warner into the ring post. Callihan rakes the eyes and he chops Martinez. Hijo snap mares Warner on the floor. Hijo whips Warner with the camera cable. Callihan misses Hijo with a punch but he does connect. Warner and Callihan choke Hijo and Martinez stops them. Warner chops Martinez and Hijo hits Callihan with a can. Warner chops Martinez.

Hijo and Callihan exchange chops. Callihan tells Hijo to chop him and Hijo does it. Hijo stands on Callihan against the guardrails. Warner with a punch to Martinez and Martinez with a kick. Warner chokes Martinez with an umbrella while Hijo hits Callihan with a cushion. Warner hits Martinez with the umbrella. Caliihan sends Martinez into Hijo and he whips them with a belt. Warner asks Callihan to whip him and Callihan does it. Hijo whips Callihan and Warner with his belt but Callihan sends Martinez into Hijo.

Callihan and Warner run into super kicks. Callihan is sent into the ring post. Hijo comes off the ramp and hits a cross body onto Callihan. Martinez and Warner finally get into the ring and Warner and Martinez exchange punches. Martinez with a drop kick. Martinez with a running European uppercut and Hijo with a super kick to Warner for a near fall. Hijo gyrates over Warner and Warner punches Hijo in the groin. Hijo stops Warner from making the tag and Martinez tags in. Martinez with a chop and Hijo and Martinez trip Warner and pull him into the ring post groin first. Martinez gets a near fall.

Martinez with a suplex and Hijo with a frog splash for a near fall. Warner with a chop and head butt and he falls onto Hijo’s midsection. Martinez and Callihan tag in and Callihan with a kick to Martinez and that leads to a cutter on Hijo. Callihan sets for a piledriver but Martinez with a European uppercut and a sunset flip. Callihan with a piledriver for the three count.

Winners: Sami Callihan and Mance Warner

After the match, Hijo attacks Callihan and kicks him. Warner goes after Hijo and chokes him. Hijo with punches. Callihan grabs Hijo and Martinez grabs Callihan. Hijo with a head butt to Warner and Warner with punches. Ricky and Sami exchange punches while Hijo and Warner continue to battle. Hijo and Warner with forearms and they make their way to the back.

We see all four men fighting in the hallway. LA Park joins in the attack and he joins Martinez and Hijo.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Austin Aries is coming to MLW.

We take a look back at the brawl in the hallway.

Next week, Tom Lawlor defends the MLW World Title against Avalanche.

Match Number Two: Daga versus Minoru Tanaka

Tanaka with a kick to the leg. Daga with a chop. They go for a test of strength and Tanaka with a waist lock but Daga with a wrist lock. Tanaka with a waist lock and wrist lock. Daga with a reversal into a wrist lock. Tanaka with a drop kick. Tanaka with a back heel kick and more kicks in the corner. Tanaka with a wrist lock but Daga with an Irish whip. Daga runs into a boot and Tanaka with a missile drop kick for a near fall.

Tanaka with a cross arm breaker but Daga is able to block it to allow it to be fully applied. Daga with a rear naked choke. Tanaka gets to the ropes. Daga kicks Tanaka in the head. Daga with forearms and a back heel kick. Daga with an enuzuigiri. Daga attempts a Doctor Bomb but Tanaka escapes. Daga with a head scissors to send Tanaka to the floor and Daga with a suicide dive.

Daga with a springboard corkscrew cross body. They return to the ring and Daga goes up top but misses a double stomp when Tanaka moves. Tanaka with a heel hook and he grapevines the leg. Daga tries to get to the ropes and he finally gets there. Tanaka with a drop kick to the knee. Tanaka sends Daga to the floor and Tanaka with an Asai moonsault. Tanaka sends Daga back into the ring.

Daga with a back elbow and he floats over Tanka and goes for a German suplex but Tanaka blocks it. Tanaka with a standing switch but Daga with elbows. Daga with kicks to the leg and a double stomp to the back. Daga gets a near fall. Daga does for a DDT but Tanaka blocks it. Daga with an ankle lock on Tanaka. Tanaka kicks Daga into the corner and Tanaka avoids the drop kick to the knee. Tanaka with a jumping round kick followed by a series of strikes for a near fall. Daga with a forearm and Tanaka fires back as they exchange forearms. Tanaka with a kick to the head and Daga with a rana for a near fall. Daga with a deadlift German suplex for a near fall. Daga with forearms but Tanaka with a round kick and he rolls Daga through and gets the three count.

Winner: Minoru Tanaka

We are told that Ross and Marshall Von Erich will be making their MLW debut at Fury Road.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman talks about the Von Erichs. Everyone wants to talk about the Von Erich Dynasty, but there is only one dynasty in pro wrestling and only one dynasty in MLW and it is the Dynasty. He does not want to hear the name Von Erich again because that name has passed.

We are back with a look at the Fury Road Control Center.

Teddy Hart will defend the Middleweight Championship against Jimmy Havoc. Myron Reed faces Gringo Loco. The finals of the National Openweight Championship will take place.

We go to comments from Contra Unit. Barrington Hughes, you have been the immovable object in MLW since day one. You were undefeated but you found yourself in the ring with Fatu. Oh how the mighty have fallen. You are just another sacrifice to the cause.

Tom Lawlor says as the champion he knows that there are going to be people who sneak up on him from behind. When he won that title from Low Ki, he came in prepared. He knew there would be dirtballs who would try to take the title from him. He has his passport and it has been stamped all over the world. Now, after dispatching England’s most dangerous man, he is faced with a challenge from Avalanche. He says he is doing some research on Avalanche. As an avalanche reaches the top of the mountain, it starts to fall apart. That is exactly what is going to happen next week. Your world is going to crumble when you reach the top of the mountain.

We are back with a look at last week’s victory by Air Wolf over Rey Fenix.

We see a poll with choices for Tom Lawlor’s next opponent and the winner of the poll was Davey Boy Smith Jr.

Myron Reed says you cannot trust the refs, especially the biased ones. He says he will be in Swann’s corner tonight to make sure there are no problems.

Match Number Three: Rich Swann (with Myron Reed) versus Brian Pillman Jr. in a National Openweight Championship Tournament SemiFinal Match

Before the match, Swann refuses to let the referee check him and then Swann and Reed leave the ring. The referee says he will declare a forfeit.

Swann returns to the ring and the match starts. Pillman with chops and a power slam. Pillman gets a near fall and Reed pulls Pillman off Swann. Swann with a rake of the eyes. Swann with a back heel kick but Pillman with a back body drop that sends Swann face first to the mat and Pillman gets a near fall. Reed and the referee argue as Pillman makes another cover.

Pillman sends Swann into the turnbuckles and chops Swann. Swann with an Irish whip and Pillman floats over. Swann with a crescent kick to Pillman. Swann with a European uppercut and chop. Pillman with a punch and Swann punches back. Pillman drop kicks Reed through the ropes. Pillman with a cutter onto the top rope.

Pillman with a cross body off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Pillman with a punch to Swann and then he punches Swann from the turnbuckles but Reed trips Pillman and Swann gets a near fall. Swann chokes Pillman and punches him. Swann with a kick to the temple. Swann kicks Pillman in the shoulder. Swann chokes Pillman in the corner and then runs Pillman’s eyes across the top rope. Swann with punches.

Swann chokes Pillman in the ropes and Reed chokes Pillman in the ropes while Swann distracts the referee. Swann with a reverse chin lock on Pillman and then Swann pulls Pillman to the mat. Swann rakes the eyes with his boot. Swann with a punch and kick to the back of the head. Swann with a Dragon sleeper. Pillman with a snap mare and Swann with a crescent kick and DDT. Swann yells the referee and he gets a near fall. Swann grabs the referee about the count and the referee pushes Swann into the turnbuckles.

Reed argues with the referee and Pillman sends Swann into Reed and gets the three count with an O’Connor Roll.

Winner: Brian Pillman Jr.

After the match, we go to Alexander Hammerstone in the back. He is asked about facing Brian Pillman Jr. on June 1st. Alexander says it feels great facing Brian. You put the two of them side by side and he has six or seven inches and 50 to 60 pounds on Brian. Brian has those genetics. Just because your dad is a great wrestler, it does not mean you are. It is like God created him just to win this championship. At Fury Road, you will have the best seat in the house, laying on the mat watching the title being put around his waist. Your father will not be proud of you.
