AEW NEWS AND NOTES

Kenny Omega, Cody, The Young Bucks, Britt Baker and Hangman Page are at the WarnerMedia upfront presentation today at the Hulu Theater in NYC with AEW President Tony Khan.  AEW was featured as part of the upfront:

The WarnerMedia partnership announcement, including the official confirmation that the promotion would debut on TNT in primetime later this year, has been picked up by a number of mainstream outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, The New York Post and more.

The promotion has officially launched its website at www.AllEliteWrestling.com.

Earl Hebner and Aubrey Edwards have been announced as joining the company as referees.

AEW's website lists Jim Ross, Alex Marvez, Conrad Thompson and Excalibur as the broadcast team.

Tickets for AEW's Fyter Fest at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, FL will go on sale to the General Public on Wednesday, May 29 at 12pm ET.  There will be a presale for attendees of the CEO Gaming Championships which will begin this Friday, May 17th at 6pm until 11:59pm on Sunday, May 19th. That event will feature The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega vs. Pac & Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix, Cody vs. Darby Allin and Michael Nakazwa vs.Alex Jebailey.  Thanks to Clay Jack.

*Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega.

*Cody vs. Dustin Rhodes.

*AAA Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks vs. Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix.

*SCU vs. CIMA & LIndaman & THawk.

*Kylie Rae vs. Nyla Rose vs. Dr. Britt Baker.

*Jack Evans and Angelico vs. The Best Friends, Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor.

*Aja Kong & Yuka Sakazaki & Emi Sakura vs Hikaru Shida & Riho & Ryo Mizunami.

*Over the Budget Battle Royal: Sonny Kiss, Kip Sabian, Brandon Cutler, Ace Romero, Glacier, Brian Pillman Jr., Sunny Daze, MJF, Joey Janela and more to be announced.

Double or Nothing is officially sold out, but tickets can be found via the secondary market.   The show will be available on PPV.

The debut weekend for the promotion will be bookended by the second Starrcast event, which you can find more about by clicking here.

AEW will also be running 7/13 in Jacksonville, Florida with Fight for the Fallen featuring Kenny Omega vs. CIMA and Allie vs. Brandi Rhodes officially announced.
