Could you please explain to me what the hell I just watched with Bray Wyatt on Raw?
It was certainly odd. It seemed like an offshoot of Mr. Rogers on meth and Pee Herman on crack to me. It was, uh, special. Maybe it can hook me down the road but my first impression was the same as yours.
Ok, so WWE is PG. It targets to kids and the hangover attitude fans who are still around need to accept that, fine. Therefore sometimes the storylines and explanation may need adults to give it a pass. Fine. I get that. However, my 2 10 year old nephews recently asked me the following. 1. Why is AJ Styles on RAW?. 2. Why is Roman Reigns on Smackdown. Their follow up questions to me saying it was a superstar shake up included ‘Who decided they went there? ‘Have we missed an episode were they told us?’ & ‘So that’s it, AJ goes to Raw and Roman to Smackdown and no one knows why?’ – Can you help explain?
They don’t tell you. They say Superstar Shakeup and you are supposed to say OK. They often don’t explain things, like Ronda Rousey not being pinned for a three count at Mania. That is why I say that they don’t really market to that audience. They market to the the 0 to 1 year old audience. They don’t ask questions.
What happened to the Authors of Pain? Are they injured? Would like to see them back on TV some time soon.
Akam is out with a knee injury. That is the down side of being in a tag team, when your partner is hurt you are too.
Why are there less backstage segments on WWE TV programming nowadays other than interviews in the New Era compared to previous eras? Rumor has it is that Triple H was never a fan of backstage segments as he felt that it took time away from in-ring action.
It isn’t HHH’s call. Gosh, don’t blame him for the calls that Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn make. You can see his vision of the product by watching NXT.
Do you know where the NXT Takeover will be taking place? I noticed they haven't announced the June card yet.
It will take place in San Jose, CA. We covered it when Triple H announced it on the conference call. They have plenty of time to get the card out there.
